My first single called Luola (Cave), tells the story of a lone wizard resting in a cave next to a campfire during his perilous journey to find the philosopher's stone

Here I tried some Finnish traditional instruments (still done digitally) namely jouhikko (tagelharpa) and the Finnish national instrument kannel (from a self-made sample). 
This is a traditional tune from Finland called Devil's March written down in 1926. Composer is unknown.

This cold wintery song is called Oak. In Finnish January is tammikuu, oak month.

The trickster wizard of the north conjuring tunes from long forgotten realms of the cold frontiers, sometimes realms of future.
Sometimes dark sometimes whimsical, we shall hear what comes.

Some of my influences are Erang, Deep Gnome, Emiko and Sumio Shiratori (Moomins), Hole Dweller, Grandma's Cottage, Cusco, and Allu Tuppurainen (Finnish children's show Rölli).

Röppä is the name of Finnish poltergeist from early 1800's. It is said that the master of the house exchanged his unborn first daughter to Röppä in exchange for fortunes. Röppä settled in the house and sometimes when Röppä felt like it it would bake good bread to last weeks, or serve porridge to whole house: masters, farm hands and servant girls alike. 

However, usually Röppä would be doing mischievous things like letting the animals loose from their pens, throwing moss or manure to food cauldron or spreading the ashes inside the house. One time Röppä cursed at the clergyman, threw cow manure at him, and asked if the priest would like some pancake.

Röppä was also a shape shifter, sometimes turning to animals, sometimes to everyday objects like big sacks. When they tried to wed their daughter away, Röppä turned in to a bear and spooked the horse of the groom resulting him getting killed under his tar barrels.
