Latin American sounds ring out on ‘Desperado’, a unique collaboration between Mòo & Jo, Demayä, Arkadyan and the vocal performance from Eribertho Cruzado. Scintillating sounds on BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra label as per usual!
The track’s chief protagonists Mòo & Jo and Demayä explain more; “we were trying to sample an old afro-boogie song that had a crazy bassline that we actually kept in Desperado, but the rest of the track wasn't matching at all. We decided later to keep only the bassline and build around it, trying different plugins and patterns, until we came up with the idea of a trumpet riff, and it was directly into that mariachi vibes. We decided to call our friendsArkadyan to add some drums and the crazy trumpet refrain, which worked so perfectly! The idea was to make a track full of groove but matching with the tension of the bassline. We are all super happy with the end result, and the Vocal Mix with Eribertho Cruzado is simply an easy tune for any place, again we can't wait for the release.”
