The Lab is a brand-new radio show at @blooplondon dedicated to the darker, deeper, and more experimental corners of electronic music. Hosted by mycologist, each episode brings a carefully curated selection of rare finds and exclusive guest mixes from boundary-pushing artists who are committed to the raw and alternative spirit of techno.

We created this space to allow artists to fully unlock their creativity and be free in their selection to deliver their most unique sounds without any dance floor pressure. It is all about deep and meaningful journeys. We want to experiment with different sounds and step away from beaten path as we see this as the perfect setting to create something truly unique and meaningful. This is The Lab.

For over two decades, Lars has crafted his journey through electronic music as a DJ, producer, and storyteller.

His sound has resonated through renowned clubs such as Zucker, Sisyphos, and Beate Uwe, leaving lasting impressions across Germany's dancefloors.
With releases on labels like Wildfang Music, Casual Lab, Auditive, and Eclaire The Heart, his musical legacy is extensive.

Lars also curates the deep-minimalistic, atmospherically rich podcast channel "Selected." @selectedselectedselected

For Lars, DJing isn't about passive listening.
It's about taking the audience on a journey where each listener actively shapes the unfolding story.

Not exploring genre boundaries, but bypassing them to forge a path between the familiar and the unexpected.

CK’s journey into electronic music began with a deep-rooted love for classic Hip-Hop (1997–2002), before discovering the hypnotic energy of Romania’s underground scene and legendary nights at Fabric London. 

CK made an impact—winning three high-profile DJ competitions (EDC London, Movida Corona UK, and Amnesia Ibiza DJ Challenge) and releasing his debut EP Back from SubBass. Since then, he’s continued to carve out a distinctive sound: deep, textured, and emotionally charged.

As the founder of DEEP MVMT, CK curates a sonic world rooted in deep house, dub techno, downtempo, and ambient aesthetics. Expect stripped-back grooves, reverb-soaked percussion, and immersive atmospheres that float between introspective and club-ready.

Wir sind der Minuskumpel, von dem Mama nicht wollte, dass Du mit ihm spielst. Der aber trotzdem an einem sonnigen Tag an deiner Haustür klingelt und das Treppenhaus hinauf brüllt, um dich nach draußen zu rufen. Mit gekreuzten Fingern versprichst Du, dass Du dich nicht mit ihm rumtreiben wirst und morgen nichts im Hausaufgabenheft steht. Nimm zwei Stufen auf einmal, tritt nicht auf die Ritzen der Gehwegplatten und Essen gibt es erst, wenn der große Zeiger auf der neun ist. 

Hinterher darfst du Mama nicht sagen, woher die Grasflecken auf deiner Hose stammen, oder warum so viel Sand aus deinen Haaren rieselt. Minuskumpel hat zugeschlagen.

Habt Ihr unsere kleine Metapher verstanden? Wir, die ROSA-Gang, dein Minuskumpel aus Greifswald, haben irgendwann mal angefangen, Partykeller zu basteln, Platten zu schieben und Knöppe zu drehen. Und weil Freunde Freunde mitbrachten, schimpften die uns plötzlich „Veranstalter“. Pfff, war uns egal, dafür darf man als „Veranstalter“ Musik in riesigen Zirkuszelten spielen, darf auf betagten Passagierdampfern tanzen und alte Industriehallen aufmotzen. Wie viel Freunde wir plötzlich hatten. Hunderttausend. Mindestens. Wir sind dann in die ROSA WG gezogen, damit alle Platz haben. Eine traumhafte Techno-Wochenend-Wohn-Gemeinschaft. Dazwischen haben wir nie aufgehört, jede tanzflächenartige Ritze zu bespielen. Wir können nicht anders.

Und nun klingeln wir an deiner Haustür. Auf zur nächsten Sause. Wir sind schließlich kein Minuskumpel für eine Nacht.
