”Selion and Sini are colors, wide and slow colors. The elements move, the background changes: this defines the space. Color can mislead, can change spatiality. There is an architectural consciousness that supports the groove, so as to create a new space. That's why there is a need for low wide bass, slow strong drums and scattered drops of echoes, to have a ground, a horizon, and air. These tracks walk a direction in my music.
On this path I met my friend Frolov who took one of these and showed me another side of sound.”

For me the beauty in music is when different styles and cultures meet and become something new. I like the backbone to be grooves rooted in African rhythms. These grooves grow in different directions. I wanted to combine all of them in a mix that tells its own story, that evolves and explores the diverse
branches of the music I love so much.” Hyenah Watergate 27 commences with Warm Drum, Hyenah introducing the mix with an epic opener, burning synths signal the intensity of the journey ahead. Lemon & Herb’s iFuh sees tribal calls and driving hi-hats build the tension. A mystical
atmosphere is formed on Reincarnation by Pablo Fierro as chants call out. Huge waves of colourful melodic house are featured from Fka Mash, Sascha Braemer, Sabb & Black Circle and AMEME, offering different shades of light and dark.

With LIGHTZ I'm very happy to be part of the 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch compilation with various talented BOOM artists via Kiosk I.D..

For the past ten years now Mira celebrated her birthday by inviting all of her favorite Kleintiere. For the first time since it started, and for obvious reasons, 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch won’t be happening this year, on what would have been the 10th anniversary of the series.

Please take this compilation as a perfect souvenir of all the nights we’ve had so far and an idea of what to look forward to in all the nights to come at Kater Blau somewhere in the future. There will be LIGHTZ in the end of the tunnel ;)
