Her name was beautiful and twisted. It were as if it could be sung by a beautiful songbird upon the morning breeze. Diana Harmony left her house each and every morning with an elegant smile upon her face, a spring in her step and joy in her heart.

Who knew what was hiding beneath the surface? What traumas? What struggles? What perils?

Who could even begin to care when she looked so happy and glad all of the time? This was the trick you see, Diana got sad too. More than you might ever even know…
 
D.Yaroslav, the Dug Up The Bongo founder, is releasing a seven track EP come album in aid of Ukranian humanitarian fund “Grains of Peace” being spearheaded by 20ft Radio.

The release is available via Whypeopledance who have been behind a number of charitable causes in the wake of the war following Russia’s invasion.

For our tenth release James Bright & Joe Morris come together for the 'New Island Sound' EP. A rich collection of tracks infused with the warm breeze of summer. Opening with Evenfall, its languid synths and subtle keys evoke the sun sparkling off the sea. The gentle dub energy of Echo Bay chills the mood further while the title track turns up the heat, pulling us onto the dance floor for a late night work out with its irresistible bass throb, entrancing synths and dubwise vocals. The Dawn Chorus mix takes us through to sunrise, cooling the energy with a spacier feeling to let the elements breathe as we float away to the horizon.

LUCYNA TAPE 01: Nowa Ziemia [LUCYNA002] is the first installment of a brand new series of compilations that tries to capture the elusive spirit of mysterious LUCYNA festival - the highly conceptual party and the holiday of half year's - an imaginary tradition that the crew tries to cultivate since 2018 experimenting with the form of an event and doing it bit different each time.


'Nowa Ziemia' - the name of one of the scenes at this year's edition - became a sort of laboratory for contemporary dance music taken beyond the obvious context of the club into the bosom of nature. Just like inclusive gatherings away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this compilation provokes reflection on dance as a form of individual expression.
