▌I Wie bist du zur Musik / zum auflegen gekommen?
Ich habe immer schon elektronische Musik geliebt. Anfangs Synth Pop, New Wave und sowas. Schon damals habe ich von meinem ganzen Taschengeld nur Platten gekauft. Als es dann langsam los ging mit Techno, habe ich angefangen zuhause aufzulegen. Zu dieser Zeit habe ich, um mir mein Hobby zu finanzieren, als „Biervorschenker“ in
einer großen Diskothek gearbeitet. Irgendwann kam der Diskothekenbesitzer zu mir,
und fragte mich ob ich am nächsten Abend als Dj einspringen könnte weil der „Haus
Plattenaufleger auf einmal krank geworden ist!“. 
So hat das ganze begonnen…

▌II Wie würdest du deinen Stil selbst beschreiben?
Tiefe, dunkle Bässe mit melancholische Synth Melodien die eine Dynamik des euphorisierten Rausches entstehen lassen.

▌III Was trinkst du beim Auflegen im Club?
Am liebsten Wasser und den ein oder anderen Wodka ;-)

🚢 Wow, what an incredible feeling to play at beloved Dampfer for the very first time! 💞🧜‍♀️ Having dreamt of this moment for years, I would have never imagined myself playing downtempo in Sisyphos.. since this was also the first time, that the Naked Tea Party took place in Dampfer, I think it's fair to say, it was a special event for all of us. 💫 To see the floor transform into something new through the music played, was just magical. All together, we - hosts, organizers, dancers & djs - created such a smooth, pleasant atmosphere. A memorable night. Thankful, to participate in this. ✨

Grateful, that I was trusted to curate music as I please, thus the sets starts off smooth and moderate, in a way 'warming up' and paving the way to slow'n'deep, yet driving eccentricity, without speeding up bpm. Just, what felt right for this special occasion 🌓

The club "Mensch Meier" in Berlin is closing next weekend after ten years. I just stumbled out there last sunday, playing for the last time for real now. It was a running gag: I thought four times in a row in the last two months, that this gig was my last one there. And then another booking came and I was so happy every single time, because this place is special. One recording worked out really fine: my goodbye in mid november, playing at the wonderful theatrefloor for the great juicy event. It's been a beautiful vibe, thank you to everyone, who was there! Somewhere in the set is unreleased music of mine ;)

This club was important. On a musical level, and also for political debates. But I can totally see, why the people involved are exhausted and are coming to an end. Running a club these days in the claws of capitalism, going though crisis after crisis, trying not to be part of the sellout, whilst keeping your standards and working political is nearly impossible... I am tired too. I feel you.

Thank you Mensch Meier! I hope you have the greatest closingweekend ever and that you can sleep well afterwards and find your welldeserved rest. I am sad, that you will be gone.
