Peace to Them Haterz - Rose Bent

On this energetic and refreshing project, Rose Bent combines two different styles of roses, thus the term “Crimson Skies.” DJ Sneakers chops it up, displaying his turn table skills scratching & mixing songs together to achieve a continuous & undeniable head nod groove throughout the mixtape. Hosted by InfinitRakz, Portland emcee, producer & entrepreneur, Crimson Skies showcases Rose Bent’s lyrical & stylistic diversity. Crimson Skies is a hybrid cross between the Crimson Rose , representing the fun, grittier side of Rose Bent heard in songs like “Flow So Hard,“Fondue” & “Class.” The Marmalade Skies Rose signifies the softer, poppy side of Rose Bent heard on tracks such as “Crazy,” “Kiss My Body,” and “Higher.” Rose Bent reaches out to Ariano Price, singer/rapper from the Bay Area, recently featured on songs with the likes of Snoop Dogg on the beautiful collaboration “Hollow,” an intricate song about dreams,fear of loving and being loved. This song touches home with anyone who has ever been in a real relationship. “Hollow” was written to reflect love past and present, and the fear of trusting someone new. This song embodies the thorns that protect the rose from being severed, lest someone clip it from its roots of self, they run the chance of being pricked in the process.
