SOS Colombia V/A by INHERENCIA is a fist up, a cry that today becomes a collective action of musicians and visual artists presented in a compilation of techno and experimental music and also short documentaries that will expose to the world how an extreme right-wing government massacres and silences its people.

"Against the violations of human rights" , "In the absence and violence of the state. The people unite and self-manage" and "Dignity, Justice and Peace" will be the three parts of this compilation that will raise funds to give to several verified human rights organizations and self-managed initiatives that are working with the most affected populations of this crisis, that are holding the statistics of police violence and are supporting the invaluable work of the front lines in Cali, Bogota, Medellin.

The Allegorist’s 4th album „Blind Emperor“ portraying the essence of a mythical land that tells of struggle that will lead to prosperity. The protagonist, the Blind Emperor, leads the charge into a brighter tomorrow. Like chapters from a novel, each track allows the listener to be carried by the story. 

The Sacrifice‘ is the lead single. It speaks about the challenges in life where a groundbreaking decision have to be made and priorities has to be set. In these moments our undeniable true core becomes visible and there will be no more lies. Sometimes our paths lead through struggle and arduous endeavours and sometimes prosperity and fulfilment follows. The track is based around a choir as it guides the listener through precarious soundscapes while strength is juxtaposed with vulnerability. The choir, made up of many voices, was carefully designed from the artist‘s voice, singing in The Allegorist‘s self-intended language called ‚Mondoneoh‘. Its drawn-out and sombre pads divulge into cocooning yet vigorous fidelity.

The Tale of The Blind Emperor

It was once a magnificent avian wetland. An atmosphere of tranquility, a sharper light shining on hoary grass through the bleak winter are now there. There was both a soothing relief and tension in this silence. The only dirt path with an intense earthy odour was scarcely perceptible and muddy with wet decaying autumn leaves. Last night had been heavy and lowering therefore the hurrying convoy had to stop and settle down here. 

Walking back the steamy breath of the horses moulded into a cloud of fog from afar. The black carriage with an imposing presence was lavishly designed. Carefully fabricated, rich and expressive ornamentation decorated the wheels and sophisticated embellishments covered the body. Six sculptures of graphite black cormorants were holding a heavy black drapery fringed at the bottom falling down from the top with a reflection of a greenish-blue. The shiny lacquered surface had a metallic touch although it was said that it was constructed out of wood. 

For centuries the shrine had been guarded and now it was only a few days ahead.

A stone thrown, just to watch it fly. A projectile launched for the sole purpose of drawing a ballistic trajectory in the sky.
The Solens arc is what remains after the subtraction of the goal; a simple parabolic curve defined by gravity, impulse and starting angle. No target to hit, no catharsis to wait for, just the beauty of the flight.

The Arc as the purpose, in the form of four variations, constructed from disintegrated melodic textures and dismantled beats. Each sequences are assembled seamlessly into dense, evolving compositions, while keeping their autonomy, and their role in the global dramaturgy.

Pointillist serial loops morph into abrasive rave anthems, broken club rhythms are refitted into uneven patterns, like deconstructivist sound architectures. Industrial techno stompers dissolve into granular sound waves and filtered space pads, before being overtaken by cinematic drums and rising arpeggios.

Solens Arc is Kangding Ray’s fourth Album for raster-noton.

Rose Bonica is a live electronic act, music producer and visual artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. 
Rose’s production style is complex, self taught and unpredictable. The layering of her sounds can feel like anything from astral projection, a warm sunny picnic with friends on the side of a lake to a hard core torture technique. Unexpected sounds illustrate the authenticity of Rose’s private production process that happens in her studio overlooking the ocean in the small coastal town of Hout Bay in South Africa where she has lived her whole life. Her work is a reflection of her perspective on everything from love and pain to the joys of domestic cats or the experience of navigating a world in crisis.
