"Velveteen", the first single from my upcoming album Providence is available on SoundCloud now, and will be available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, and other major retailers on Dec 1st, 2017.

This song comes from a very special place in my heart. I wrote the lyrics to "Velveteen" while camping alone in the Blue Ridge Mountain during the winter of 2014. The music came to me gradually, as I sought to find a sound that could replicate the absolute feeling of exhilaration of running through the mountain forest with no reservations. It was in that forest that I learned to hear Creator's voice and truly opened my heart and mind to the loving resonance that flows endlessly in her/his manifestation of love, we call Earth.

All instrumentation, production and mastering was done by myself in my home studio. The lyrics can be found in the music tab on my website below. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Velveteen

The passion within Rose Meridian is to create positive music that inspires people to stay close to nature, listen to their hearts, and grow in compassion, forgiveness, patience and understanding for themselves and others. I also want to give the people who want or are working towards equality and peace for the betterment of this world, hope and motivation in knowing they are not alone in this movement. 

     I am hoping to reach the hearts of everyone with lyrics that are universally spiritual and speak on topics that everyone can vibe with, regardless of their religion or beliefs. So many people have forgotten how to hear God’s, Mother Nature’s, the Universe’s voice, or whatever you’d like to call Him/Her. I am reaching out to the people who are interested in or actively cultivating their spirituality, in whatever pathway they are choosing do it. The cries of Earth grow louder everyday, let us come together.

     I am here to testify for the Earth. To speak words of unity.
To share my experiences to help others in need.  And love the ever livin' shit outta you.
