Roses is a romantic rock 'n' roll band.
Led by singer-songwriter Andrew Tobiassen (formerly of Deer Tick), Roses originated in Brooklyn, New York as a recording collaboration between Tobiassen and Keith Zarriello (The Shivers). They released a five song EP in February 2012, followed by a national tour. Zarriello left soon after, Tobiassen continued on.
Roses quickly evolved, adding new members Nicholas Dawson (synthesizers) and Matthew DeCosta (synthesizers/drum machine). Drawing influence from bands such as The Velvet Underground, T. Rex, and New Order, ROSES crafts unique and honest rock 'n' roll.
