I had to restrain myself, but I feel that I was still able to play a set that was all me, still deep dark and dirty.

Rosie Love Summer Promo Mix 2023

Went thru some old and new tracks that I put together to get some practice down. I feel that mixing house, in preparation for a techno gig, really sharpens the knife as it challenges me to play out of my comfort zone, slower bpm which allows more room for error, in my opinion, and vocals that can be tricky. Mixing house was how I learned in the beginning, so every now and then, I like to come back to it.

First Rainy Sunday of the year! Thank God for the much needed rain, but also means no pickleball. So, I did what I normally do when I have a lot of new music and no where to go. 
Plus after an amazing volunteer gig I did to give back to the fire victims in LA, I was buzzing still with the awesome house vibes I was able to curate. I wanted to keep that vibe going and capture it in a mix. 
Please enjoy this new housey side of me, as most of you know I like hard dark deep dirty techno, but I have found my way back in a full circle moment mixing the deep vibes that I started with 14 years ago.

Tekno Love Episode 005

Recorded in Rob's Memory.... 3 hours packaged into one hour of my favorite most meaningful tracks  .. Including Fur De Libre whIch was the last time we danced together, at ALL DAY I DREAM... I always knew him as Downtown Rob. My favorite nights in 2010 were in Downtown and thanks to Rob and a few others that will always be in my heart! Memories and smiles never fade in this heart!

Born and grown in East LA, Rosie has been heavily influenced and inspired by the 1990’s House and Techno movement, something she feels will always be alive inside her soul. Rosie Love’s passion for music has been the driving force in making a name for herself in the Los Angeles underground scene. In 2011, she began her own event called Teknologik, alongside her then business partner Alan of Incognito. Teknologik became a well known monthly for 2 years, focusing on booking local talent in the techno scene. Since her DJ debut on 11/11/11 at Incognito, Rosie has opened for big named talent such as Kevin Saunderson, Margaret Dygas, DJ Koze, John Aquaviva, Lucy, Audio Injection, Raiz, Ben Klock, Tommy Four Seven, XHIN, DVS1, and 100’s of amazing local talent. She is now pressing on to be a staple of the underground community with her dirty, deep and dark techno beats. She thrives on non-conforming music selections and is always looking to push limits to find unique sounds. She is the first and only female artist of the talented group of producers known as #FOFN and is currently a resident for the only ongoing all-female event in Los Angeles, Fallen Angel. Although she is known for her love for techno, she has a deep passion for playing house, acid, disco, breaks, old school and jungle, and it shows in her sounds. Rosie prides herself in finding new ways to compose the perfect blends of genre’s in order to make every set a memorable musical journey.
