Originally written and recorded in 2011, a few months ago 3D decided that the song wasn't done justice and re-recorded everything from the guitar up. When he finished recording all of the tracks he sent them over to me for a twiddle, most enjoyable - cheers 3D

Welcome To Here by D.D.Danahy

You guessed it: I conducted a jam session, recorded everything and then used Audacity to put the best parts from this sesson together to one single track using only basic audio editing techniques. 

During this particular jam session I used my humble Eurorack together with the Arturia MicroBrute and a ton of modulation. Additionally, I employed a collection of guitar pedals to bring in some effects. The squeeking noises heard throughout the track is the MicroBrute's filter in self-resonance.

The speech sample comes from the stock audio library of the Eurorack module Radio Music and is the voice of Kurt Waldheim, an Austrian diplomat. This greeting was featured on the Voyager Golden Records, two gold plated records which were included aboard both Voyager spacecraft that were launched in 1977.

Here's a collaboration I did with a cool thunderstorm passing by.
I put a bucket, a metal tin can and a glass jar to make the rhythm and I accompanied on the flute.
After my enthusiasm got carried away ^^
