Disquiet Junto Project 0577: Make That Money Shaker

The Assignment: Make a simple instrument and put it to use.

Major thanks to Jason Wehmhoener for having proposed this project.

Step 1: Improvise a shaker — that is, make a simple instrument that emits sound due to shaking.

Step 2: Improvise with the shaker you made in Step 1. Use lots of syncopation

Eight Important Steps When Your Track Is Done:

Step 1: Include “disquiet0577” (no spaces or quotation marks) in the name of your tracks.

Step 2: If your audio-hosting platform allows for tags, be sure to also include the project tag “disquiet0577” (no spaces or quotation marks). If you’re posting on SoundCloud in particular, this is essential to subsequent location of tracks for the creation of a project playlist.

Step 3: Upload your tracks. It is helpful but not essential that you use SoundCloud to host your tracks.

Step 4: Post your track in the following discussion thread at llllllll.co:

I had some fun with this one, a wrong take on Butterflies' life cycle. They are supposed to arrive to the prettier stage in the end but my track moves backwards, from a gentle and nice pastoral in the first section to a cheesy jazz ballad, then chaotic and quite ugly electro-acoustic free-jazz third section.
It's always the same "theme" with variations, that was my actual "exercise" here.

I was born in Brantford Ontario Canada July 11th 1963,
I'm a retired City Worker from The Brantford Ontario Works Dept of 34 years of service,
I was 9 years old when I started taking drum lessons with the Ontario Conservatory Of Music,
I taught drum lessons and played in a band that played blues, country, 50's, blue grass,
I started making playlists at the age of 12 years old (1975) Pioneer Turntable, Cassette Deck, Receiver & two 50 watt Speakers.

I enjoy working with DJs, Composers, Beat Makers Song Writers Hip Hop Artists from all over the world 🌍
