On the first Friday in October TRACE welcomed Dub Techno connoisseur Andy Green of Verdant Recordings to Brunswick Cellars.

Here is the full 5 hour set, taking you through the gears. 

This wasn't your usual warm up/ guest Dj scenario, with Andy and Chris going back to back on 3 tracks each for a good few hours. 

Which hours who knows, but it's a quality journey from start to finish.

Quadrant Soundscape presents In Focus 008

The 8th instalment of our In:Focus Series goes back to where it all began. The Originators, the start of the sound we all love - Its Mark & Moritz, it's Basic Channel. 

There’s not a lot we can write that hasn’t already been written about this legendary duo and record label. Its quite hard to fathom how much innovation and quality came out of Berlin in such a small space of time, but over the course of 2/3 years Mark and Moritz invented a genre and wrote there names into the history books.   

What we have presented here isn’t a complete body of their work but it covers the majority of their output , with most of the ‘Big Hitters’ featured. We Chose to focus specifically on the releases as Basic Channel / Cyrus / Quadrant, however there is much more to explore, with their output as Maurizio, Rhythm&Sound, Round One - Five. 

Many have tried imitating, none have succeeded. This is Basic Channel

In Focus 008 - Basic Channel

Closing the releases season of 2024, For Senses proudly presents MUYÚAVI the great collab by ISMAEHL and THOMAS HERNAN, including stunning remixes by ILIAS KATELANOS & PLECTA and MINDLANCHOLIC. Debuting on For Senses, Ismaehl and Thomas Hernan brings the beautiful single Muyúavi, anchored by a warm and spacious groove, sitting in the creative space between organic and deep house ,creating a delightful dancefloor track. The talented producers Ilias Katelanos and Plecta, debuts on the label presenting a remix filled with an evolving organic percussive and atmospheric melodies, creating a musical narrative filled with groove and melody. Closing the EP, Mindlancholic returning to the label with another wonderful remix, adding his sound signature , adding an emotional atmosphere and blissful swells layering a bed of a progressive percussion, creating a perfect musical journey. This is a must have EP for those who look for beautiful melodies that elevates your thoughts with warm feelings. Thanks to all audience and artists that took part of our musical journey this year, we will be back in 2025 with another season full of great music. Music for your senses.

Oscar Rosmano is a Portuguese-Mexican electronic music DJ and event promoter based in Lisbon, Portugal. He began his DJ career in 1998, inspired by the Global Underground series, and by 2000, he was hosting his own radio show in Évora, Portugal. In 2002, he founded a gogo dance team called Exotic Angels, which led him to perform across Europe, enhancing his ability to engage diverse audiences. 


Throughout his career, Rosmano has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Dimitri Nakov, King Unique, Dave Seaman, Kasey Taylor, Pena, Khainz, and David Morales. He has performed in various countries, including Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Portugal. 


In addition to his DJing, Rosmano has been involved with Fashion TV parties and served as a host DJ on the Fashion TV Boat around the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas during 2006-2007. He is also the founder of the record label For Your Mind Records. 


Currently, Rosmano owns and manages several venues in Lisbon, including Temple Club, The Lounge - Sports Bar & Bistro, and Photus Club. He continues to influence the electronic music scene through his performances and event promotions.
