pretend for a moment that you are in another world...

The Countess of Brie is the ruler of the most powerful county in the Kingdom of Svaldor and she is unwed. A wanderer finds his way into the lady's estate and plays a beautiful melody on a keyboard in a renovated wing of the main house. The Countess catches the wanderer, but instead of having him arrested, she hires him to teach her how to play. As time passes, she falls in love with him, but due to the responsibilities and reputation of her office, she cannot commit to a formal relationship. It is a sad story really, but at least this music is pleasant.
