Hardhouse Mix

"On the Road" is an instrumental fusion of Country and Trance, blending organic warmth with modern club energy. The track opens with slide guitar, banjo, and fiddle, evoking the intimacy of a campfire night. After 16 bars, tension rises as trance arpeggios, wide ambient pads, and a deep 4/4 kick expand the sound into a Deep House / Progressive Trance dimension.

In the drop, pulsing basslines, sidechained pads, and euphoric synth layers collide with earthy country instruments, which float above the groove as melodic accents. The result is a soundscape between rustic country roots and hypnotic trance club ecstasy – perfect for fans of epic sonic journeys.

The track closes with an emotional finale, where octaved guitars, deep sub-bass, and shimmering arpeggios slowly fade into the distance – a musical road from the warmth of the campfire to the infinity of the night.

And finally we have our last release of 2020! The boys have teamed up with Cupra for this one and what a track to end the year with!! It features a rolling bassline with plenty of psychedelic sounds, stabs, energetic hooverish noises and a catchy vocal hook that will see you through to the breakdown (which has an Alice In Wonderland/into the rabbit hole kinda feel to it with it’s Green Velvet vocal). Then enters a rasping mammoth of a main lead to steal the show before disappearing behind its filter as the “Pills & Rils” vocal starts, then it slowly builds upwards adjacent to the acid line, each reaching their peak just in time for an intense kick back that’s filled with that lovely squeak of a screaming acid. Throw in some more hooverishness and the vocal hook once again and we’re at a cheeky extra section that may catch you out… Remember folks, count your beats!!

For the last 20 years, Ross Farley has been relentlessly passionate about Hard House music. After listening to Paul Glazby’s One From the Hardbox, Ross knew the musical path on which he wanted to dedicate his time and energy.

In 2004 Ross spun alongside DJs Ali Wilson, Eufex, Danny Gilligan, and Paul Glazby in an attempt to bring Hard House music all the way to California. Unfortunately, the scene did not take off as expected and Ross was left with a dream and a passion that would take more than a decade to realize. 

Ross created the idea for Visceral Records over ten years ago; the desire being to create an American Hard House label that could rival the likes of Vicious Circle, Fireball, Tidy, and all of the labels he looked up to. Until very recently, Visceral Records consisted of putting out mixes sporadically and slaving away in the studio with his partner in crime and Co-Founder Tim Sloan a.k.a. SLENDERMAN. The two have spent thousands of hours practicing the art of the mix, submitting tracks, and constantly learning new DJ and production techniques.
