Après avoir sorti son premier album Synthèse sur le label français Versatile Records en 1998. Il forme avec Ark le duo Trankilou.

Connu pour une musique désarticulée et synthétique, il remixe dans les années 2000 des artistes comme Alex Gopher ou Soulstice.

Laurence Guy has recently dropped some great solo EP's on Church and Rose Records and contributed to compilations and split EP's on CinCin and Outplay but his latest addition to Churches Volumes 002 has the entire Phonica crew tapping our feet and nodding our heads in approval! It's strength lies in its subtlety, 'Wish I Knew' is a stripped back and piece of House music which effortlessly plays with tension and release. Phonica Premieres: Laurence Guy - Wish I Knew [CHURCH]

JLM and Chris Wang started the party Love Dancing in 2009 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Love Dancing, along with Jesse Proudfoot and Chris Allen’s Good Faith,  was a formative dance experience for many of us in Vancouver and an essential ingredient in the Mood Hut stew. The music on this disc dates from that period and captures some of the energy of the Love Dancing parties. We hope you enjoy it.

“healing” begins to open up from the haze that “fog” leaves. The title has a lot of meaning behind this one, laced with distant vocals telling you to “let the healing into your heart”. The track encapsulates the title of the EP, an emotional shift towards happiness, peace of mind, hope, and (some) clarity. This track was written with a lot of personal hardships on CD’s mind from a recent relationship, and always pictured being entranced by it at the end of a long set in the club.
