In the midst of all the things, I felt the need to find a place for a good chunk of the music I've been collecting for the last while. Meant as a companion for summer road trips, pre/post rave hangouts, and to fill marginal times with a seemingly endless array of soulful sounds.

2.5 hours as is becoming standard for my music dumps. A raw capture of a summer Sunday evening flow.

Raised in the rural Kootenay mountains yet drawn to the urban 808 sounds of grime and trap, Shiny Things got a head start on the international festival scene attending nearby Shambhala and Burning Man from a young age. No wonder he’s now grown to become a fixture on the decks at both festivals as well as faves like Bass Coast and Envision.

Not only the founder of the widely respected label, Akbal Music, Robbie has also been signed to several highly respected labels like Get Physical, Culprit, Kindisch and No. 19. Over the last few years he has been touring all over the world playing in some of the coolest parties in  more than 80+ different cities around the globe.

It all began at the best underground club of Berlin where the 2 girls met in 2014. 

They developed their deep musical connection and friendship out of their love for raves. Cultivated by the Drosssel label, they were thrown out into the DJ industry and since then try to make the dancefloors they fill, into a crazy and unique place. 

2 Girls 1 Club try to embody the sound of female self confidence mixed with different styles, voices and a lot of self humor.

They are part of the Leipzig based slowereastside collective as well.
