Does anyone know the trackname of this song?

I've put effort into looking for it myself by trying to search through the lyrics (which I can hardly make out) but it's really difficult.  I mom recognizes this song from the 80's but she doesn't know either.  I'd greatly appreciate any help, even if it's just the artist.
