Got to see The Clash when they played "Broadway" in '81, 2 nights. If I remember correctly the Slits opened one night and Grandmaster Flash the other night. I saw them again one more time later in Florida. I have the greatest respect for the band but especially for Joe Strummer. The epitome of cool and substance and Rock n Roll.

Mark Sgarbossa is an artist and musician from San Diego, California. He played ryhthm guitar and sang vocals in the indie band The Shirlies. He also played synth and sang in big beat/live electro duo ROTATOR, all the while producing his own music on the side.

   Mark appears on the Virgin® Records / Astralwerks® catalog for a remix he made for West Indian Girl (http://rateyourmusic.com/release/ep/west_indian_girl/remix_ep/).
