This 10 track album stays true to the producer’s vision, and is crammed with highlights. The deep and twisted Acid track ‘Wounded Cowboy’ is a truly masterful Journey (co-produced with Any Act) whilst the raw electronics of ‘Ya Ne Pew’ and ‘Room 00’ have been setting Techno floors alight with their infectious energy. The two Locked Club co-productions provide a dark euphoria (‘2040’) and some downright terrifying samples (Angry Pyosa’) for the adventurous DJ and then there’s the humour and of ‘Papa Carlo’ and ‘Fat Pigeon’.
Another surprise comes with ‘That Summer’ providing a beautiful closing track that’s one part deep house and one part rugged Techno, immersing the listener in a truly brilliant crossbreed reminiscent of 90’s Lekebusch/Svek records.

There’s also a very limited 4 track vinyl release to accompany the album that will be available via www.dontrecordings.bandcamp.com

Born out of scruffy techno beginnings at drum-heavy basement parties, this is a serious, acid inflicted view of modern electronic music from the other side - away from the surrealism of the big room. Russian breakout duo Locked Club land ready to kick out the gritty punk!

Private Persons has already visited Berlin’s Tresor, London’s Corsica Studios, Barcelona’s Razzmatazz and many other in France, Greece, Lithuania, Poland, Netherlands & etc. The record label has been on a steady ascent thanks to its concrete destroying aesthetic, culminating in a recent high point when their 006 release was given a run out by Aphex Twin at Coachella 2019.

LOCKED CLUB | STVOL.TV X PRIVATE PERSONS — 7 YEARS

This track was one of those that just happened, out of playing the instruments, with the Roli Seaboard. When I listen to the track I get transported beyond my mind and time starts bending. The name is a word that I invented, that is perfectly cromulent. It´s in Swedish and the noun to the verb to "transmute". The actual swedish word is "transmutation" (pronounced like the swedish chef) and the verb is "transmutera". However "TRANSMUTANS" is a much better sounding noun and follows swedish conjugation. Similar to english, as in "acceptance". Transmutans, in swedish, sounds much better than Transmutance would in english :)

Roteker is a techno musician and video artist originally from Western Siberia, currently based in Belgrade. 
Starting his solo career in 2016 as a lo-fi musician under the name Marshall Fishwick. In 2020 he evolved the sound to a lot darker and heavier techno while keeping in reflection his unique melancholic atmosphere and deliberately overloaded nature.

Marshall Fishwick is the electronic music project of Nikita Roteker. It embodies a blend of euphoric melancholy and nostalgia for the unrealized, presented through resonant rhythms and ethereal melodies.
