The city suffered a lot and is still suffering from daily artillery and air weapon attacks (at the minute the text is written).'Forgotten Memories' is a beautiful release from Somelee which was signed just a few days before the full-scale war started in Ukraine.It is reflecting warm and cosy memories from the past with a perspective of the future which belongs to our country now.We can't stay aside from the colours we love the most, you can see them in the artwork.With the thoughts towards those who left us, with hope to be able to live and prosper on our land as soon as possible.

it’s a pleasure to create the 2nd b2b SOLmundo with a talented and good friend; alaa jazaeri.  

amongst the variety of sounds that I find myself enjoy playing, alaa and i share a common ground within that pool of sounds. after finding out about this, i thought i must invite alaa to the podcast, not as a guest mix, but rather for a fluid b2b session to utilise the common sounds that we both share.

the result is a carefully constructed harmonic journey that should sit well with your sensible delicate ears.

Sol Selectas welcomes back Polish artist Raidho with a fresh 3 song EP, including remixes from Ameme & NenaHalena, LUM, and West & Hill.

The lead song “Jaguar Dance” is a deep interpretation of a Detroit Techno classic. With a long emotional intro, beautiful drum programming and key work which take influence from the original, combined with superb musicianship from collaborator T.Etno, this song is already an instant hit.

On the remix we have production duo Ameme and NenaHalena, who warp the original into a powerful Afro House jam. The off kilter percussion, synth stabs, and long extended breakdown whirls the crowd into an absolute frenzy.

“Whispers” is a mid tempo groover, with notes of tropical percussion, ancestral chants, and ethereal vocals swirling in and out. West & Hill is new on the label, and takes the original into even deeper house territory, adding lush piano keys, guitar licks, and uplifting pads.

“Slow Life” brings down the tempo with rich tabla percussion, a groovy bass line ,and moody synth work. Our dear friend LUM offers two remixes of “Slow Life”, the first one takes us into minimal tech, reminiscent of classic Luciano, with deep grooves, vocal stabs, and tribal percussion. The final interpretation is for those After hours moments, where reality and dreams fuse into one consciousness. Spiritual flutes and liquid bass notes pulse in and out taking the listener to new dimensions.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us on a journey through the heart of the jungle, in its chaotic, yet so organized, state of being.

We're thrilled to present our next release - Imilebe EP by the newest members of our family, NEFERU, and our label bosses, FUNKAMEL. This release includes two original tracks and five splendid remixes by FreakMe, Evan Hatfield, Jack Essek, blue Dietrich, and Nebu Mitte.
NEFERU (Umut Balamur and Görkem Güner) and FUNKAMEL (Moti Landesman and Neria Orbach) have collaborated to create two Afro House summer anthems that are sure to captivate and inspire.

On remix duty, we've enlisted the talents of FreakMe, Evan Hatfield, Jack Essek, blue Dietrich, and Nebu Mitte to bring fresh perspectives and unique flavors to the original tracks. First, we are happy to welcome FreakMe to our family, who has released music on labels such as Diynamic, Get Physical, and Exploited, giving "Imilebe" a super fresh Melodic Techno interpretation. Next up is Nebu Mitte, returning to our label with a hypnotic organic house remix of the theme track. The last remix of "Imilebe" comes from the talented blue Dietrich, who delivers a mellow and captivating edition. Then, the legendary Evan Hatfield returns with a punchy, organic, desert-inspired twist to "Nuku." Last but not least, Jack Essek creates an extraordinary fusion masterpiece that we can't stop listening to.
