Testing my new custom Wah. My RG4570z into DWJ Custom Wah, Keeley C4, ISP Decimator, Mesa Boogie Roadking 2. Recording with the output of the effects loop directly into my Quad Capture and using Re-Cabinet amp simulator. Sound's quite nice to me as a guitar sound and the Wah is the best I have ever heard! Same as the tone one. Mixed the rhythm a bit more and added some rough drums! First ever time programming REAL drums not like cheapo synth ones!

Me playing Times of Grace - Life is Love. Epic Song. This was a second take as I totally messed up the second to last bar in the song first time round (DOH!). Suhr Modern, solid Koa body, Pau Ferro neck. Blower switch on, (on Suhr) bypasses all guitar electronics and connects bridge pickup directly to guitar input jack. Into ISP Decimator Pro Rack G (guitar input and in amp loop), Mesa Boogie Roadking 2 (channel 3, 4x6L6's), Roland UA-55 Quad Capture, into Sonar X2 Producer. Using Recabinet, Lexicon Reverb Suite and BBE Sonic Max VST's. Monster and Planet Wave Cables. Same setup as the previous video really as I am quite happy with the guitar tone. Just me raw and mistakes included!

So Garth has Jammit, he has the actual separate bass and drum tracks. Did his own vocal track then sent them to me to play with and add guitars! All guitar are mine! 6 tracks in total. 1 main rhythm track (split left and right). Another main track with the leads (split left and right). Then a seperate just Lead track (split left and right). I got my Suhr Modern Custom Koa, into Keeley C4 compressor, into ISP Decimator, into Mesa Boogie Roadking2 (IPS in to main amp input and also in effects loop 1. 3 channel 3 set to 4 6l6's. Effect loop send out directly into my UA-55 interface, volume about 12 o'clock. Then into Sonar X2 Producer. Usking Kazrog ReCabinet (cab simulator) VST, Lexicon Hall Reverb VST, BBE Sonic Maximixer VST. The Lead has a Delay set at 130bpm. Did some messing around here and wanted to try something new. Drum build up with playing and a different kind of solo. Its scruffy as my playing is ATM but hope it kinda fits! Elongated ending to leave for me to mess with or shed over at a later date. Rock on and if you have listened tell me what you think. :-)

4-2-14 / 7-2-13 With Rough Solo

The Mesa Boogie Roadking 2 for the guitar tracks channel 1 for the clean. Channel 3 for distorted. FX loop send directly into my interface. 2 Tracks per part with a cab simulator panned left and right and I even included the clean guitar screw up of the wrong chord! Vocal mic is a Rode NT-1A with 2 tracks with slightly different mixes. All effects and vocal stuff was Guitar Rig 5. Bass was my guitar (Ibanez prestige RG1570 with a Dimarzio fitted) and the Boogie clean channel 1 with a Whammy effect though GR5 lowing the octave, LOL.

Roth. Shinedown - Second Chance Cover

This is a cover of Burn With Me off the newest Amaranthe album. It was more to see if I could actually sing the chorus in the original key. Not mixed, rough as hell but you get the idea. Just Guitar Rig 5 and BBE Sonic Loudness and that is it. Direct in with a Les Paul and vocals done on a the Rode NT-1A. I think I might carry this one on with a properly done cover version.

Roth Bon Jovi - Make a Memory Cover

My Boss Tera Echo arrived yesterday so decided to mess with it. Took the basics from a softer song from the band and just put a quick intrumental solo over the top of it. Ibanez RG4570Z, Boss TE-2, Keeley C4 Compressor/Sustainer into a Quad Capture UA-55 using Sonar X1 and Patches were from Guitar Rig 5 an thats it. No mixing, no messing just straight direct recording an a bit of early morning rough shred and wish washy delay sounds.
