For this new Minimadelic podcast, we are proud to welcome Root with a set exclusively made up of his own productions. Root opens the dance with a solid groove and immediately immerses the audience in a soft, melodious and psychedelic trance, spiced up with bizarre and dissonant hits. Indistinct murmurs have a cerebral impact, supported by an incredibly lively and precise bass.
A flute comes to guide the spectator in his shamanic journey, time dilates on a suspended atmosphere, and more and more contrasts offer an unprecedented sensory experience. We witness a fluid succession of sound paintings, the groove remains powerful, flawless and yet constantly enriched with subtle variations. The elements dialogue with each other brilliantly, as we slide into an organic abstraction.
Between mischievous and energetic, the journey continues with tracks that are each more interesting than the other, real playgrounds for the ramblings of the mind. Surprises await the audience at the turn, with electric guitars and surrealist dialogues.
The complex and beautiful rhythmic sustain the most seasoned ears until the end of the set, all with an exceptional narration.

[FR] Pour ce nouveau podcast Minimadelic, nous sommes fiers d’accueillir Root avec un set exclusivement constitué de ses propres productions. Root ouvre la danse avec un groove solide et plonge immédiatement l’auditoire dans une transe douce, mélodieuse et psychédélique, épicée avec des hits bizarres et dissonants. Des murmures indistincts ont un impact cérébral, soutenu par une basse incroyablement vivante et précise.
Une flûte vient guider le spectateur dans son voyage chamanique, le temps se dilate sur une atmosphère en suspens, et toujours plus de contrastes offrent une expérience sensorielle inédite. On assiste à une succession fluide de tableaux sonores, le groove demeure puissant, infaillible et pourtant constamment enrichi de subtiles variations. Les éléments dialoguent entre eux avec brio, au fur et à mesure que l’on glisse dans une abstraction organique.
Entre malicieux et énervé, le voyage se poursuit avec des morceaux plus intéressants les uns que les autres, véritables terrains de jeu pour les divagations de l’esprit. Des surprises attendent l’auditoire au tournant, avec notamment des guitares électriques ou encore des dialogues surréalistes.
Les rythmiques à la fois complexes et belles sustentent les oreilles les plus aguerries jusqu’à la fin du set, le tout avec une narration exceptionnelle.

This is followed by a two-hour minimal tour de force. An organic piece with a velvety bass, a poem by Baudelaire recited with a voice from beyond the grave on a percussive cloud. The piano invites itself as a distinct element throughout the set, in a succession of dark and colourful landscapes, but remaining in an abstract sphere.
Between shamanic and psychedelic, surprising elements emerge from random sequencers. We revel in a real rhythm and groove lesson that is spiced up with many indistinct vocals. Mechanical noises send chills up the spine, and a powerful swing dominates the performance like an invitation to wiggle that one can’t refuse. 
A superb sung vocal contrast with the minimalist locomotive, quickly won over by an orchestral cacophony and a spiritual pan flute. Beckhaüser closes his performance with a super funky brass band track and demonstrates the versatility of his selection. This set confirms the passionate and expert mix of the artist, strong of his experience as a label owner and one of a kind music enthusiast.
