Khazad Records are proud to present their very first EP release. For such a huge milestone in the development of the label, there was only one artist we could turn to, Grace Dahl.

Grace blew us away earlier this year with her track “She Left Everything Behind” that featured on our first VA compilation. The track was an instant hit and received huge support, most notably from Amelie Lens who included the track in her Radio 1 Essential Mix.

Now, Grace is back on Khazad with her brand new EP, “Dark Side of Desire”. Within the EP Grace delivers three blistering tracks full of intense energy and unstoppable groove. Accompanied by a gut-busting remix from a fellow rising star of the Dutch underground, Cynthia Spiering, this is a hugely anticipated release and it certainly lives up to expectation!

Up this week on our FWP Series is Egotik, a Producer/DJ currently based in Málaga, Spain. 

With releases on well-established labels such as COUP, Insane Industry, and Occult Rythms; Egotik has been taking off this year with artists  such as Randomer, Amelie Lens, Varya Karpova, Melissa D'Lima or Røttar having already supported his productions.

He has also seen releases on upcoming underground projects such as Berlin-based labels Sindex, Hardest Soft and Mitsu2000 and with more upcoming releases for labels such as The Techno's Children, he sure is one to watch out for.

Seinen Sound legt er dabei nicht konkret fest, da für ihn alle Subgenre und Sound Richtungen einen gewissen Reiz bieten.

In times of inflationary streaming output, we were really struggling whether it’s worth it or not, but after changing our minds back and forth, we decided to bring back our podcast series in a new shape. 
As artists are often introduced by an always similar sounding bio, we were interested in more than just label and club references: What type of person are you? How do you drink your coffee? And what do you think about Charlotte De Witte’s bottom lip piercing? We want to get in touch with artists on another level and the best way to do this is with a round of ,,trash talk’’. 

The young Belgian producer Tanzkarte is kicking off the series with a pounding mix and some more or less serious answers. Enjoy!
