Sometimes the challenges of life can overwhelm us and it is hard to imagine a positive outcome. "Into The Mind" is about the heavy ways the mind can go in times of distress, and it is also about the beautiful turn everything can take when we keep an optimistic perspective towards life. At the end of the difficult times, there is always light.

Force Majeure's debut release on the 'Sulk Magic' imprint comes stocked with mind-altering treats. 
The title track 'Overawed' mesmerises with it's low-slung undulating electronics, acid flashes and arpeggio rhythms. 'Cheap Thrills' then accelerates proceedings with unfussy drums and robotic, bleep heavy melodies. 
Label owner Bird of Paradise offers up a relentless lo-fi version of the latter whilst Melbourne based Jamie Blanco provides a hustling futuristic soundscape. Damon Jee closes matters with his interpretation of 'Overawed', contributing a stripped back, double-time chugger.

One of the key figures of the Berlin techno disco/chug scene and founder of the Kater Blau based Feinstoff parties, @freudenthal a.k.a 1/2 of @Pardonmoiband is a busy man – not only organizing the most colourful & sophisticated parties at respected venues like Salon Zur Wilden Renate, or Ritter Butzke, but also with a number of high quality releases (EP’s & Remixes) on labels such as Höga Nord Rekords, NEIN Records and Roam Recordings as well as his glorious live/DJ sets at Katerblau & Bachstelzen.

The tenth reference of the digital series of Dogs & Vultures Records is signed by the Mexican producer Montessori aka Alfredo Cardenas in collaboration with the producer,DJ and vocalist Badmoiselle (Montessori is also part of the FLXXX project and the Label Innisfallen Records with Andrés Gomez aka Andrem), . Aircraft Reel and Fanjoyen are the original cuts of the ep, built under a line clearly focused on the dance floor and with a fine balance between the early hours of the night or those of a good after. The remixes come in charge of the Mexicans Rigopolar and Colossio, both well known in the scene and with a great doing in all their productions. Also the Italians Younger Than Me, more focused this time on their sound '90's rave' than in previous productions, and the French Dombrance, component of the band DBFC and Recently interviewed by strong media like Vanity Fair or the television channel France 24 by the success of their new album, ''Raffarin'' they will also be able to listen to the work of DBFC in the Gucci Men's Fall / Winter 2014-15 Runway Show! Mexican artist Mateo Gonzalez alias Bufi alias Theus Mago kicks off his 2020 vision with a three tracker, 'BAQA', on PETS Recordings and musically continues to deliver dance floor oriented music in the style of his 'Osla' EP, which included the omnipresent and well-received track 'Stadium Flutes'. 'Rave Dave', the B2 or EP's closing track is no exception regarding the aforementioned and is an instant classic. 'Classic' because the sound selection as well as the arrangement take you back to the early nineties of the last decade, to the die-hard rave days, to 'rave Dave', the stereotype of a raver, dancing all weekend but still being fresh on a Monday. 'Rave Dave' stands out due it's lush bass line or a 'thundering drum' combined with echoing ligneous sounding chords still giving the take an industrial vibe thatis emphasized by a mental melodic part in the middle part before the trippy intially introduced chords and a vocal guide the listener through the end of the track and right into a newly approaching musical thunderstorm.

'Last March we’ve been lucky to have him featured on Lost Tapes Vol. 3 (Pt. I) with his ‘Computer Controlled Drum Rhythm’. Now Jepe will finally release his first EP on AEON!

The Berlin-based Portuguese producer and DJ has created an uplifting yet nostalgic EP including three originals and a remix by Johannes Albert. The Restless Soul EP began to shape during last spring, as Jepe was roaming between enjoying sunsets on Kreuzberg’s Admiralbrücke and the white sandy beach of his hometown, Aveiro.
 
The first track ‘Congo Bongo Acid’ is an, at times, trippy combination of 80s inspired synths and an electro drumatronic Congo pattern. Following the opening track, ‘Reasonable Doubts’ feels a bit more sunny thanks to a combination of luminous synth arrangements. However, some parts of the song make you reasonably doubt the truthfulness of the ecstatic melodies. Lastly, ‘Restless Soul’ reflects just that with its urgent bassline that leaves hardly any time to breathe. With some delirious keys embracing you, you find yourself listening to disco disguised as house, driving your convertible on a Los Angeles Highway.

To complete The Restless Soul EP, AEON invited Johannes Albert to remix the record’s title track. The Berlin-based honcho of Frank Music is never shy to add a soothing melodic touch to the mix, taking ‘Restless Soul’ on an acid-driven tour to the dancefloor. 

Altogether, a versatile set of tracks delivered by the forward-thinking German label.'
