A new Rotten Citizen is here! Russian DJ and producer Yasha F is the one delivering this time with three tracks clearly focused on the dance floor with a mixture of tribal percussion, rhythmic guitars, exotic synth melodies and wicked vocoders.
To complete the release, Mexican producer Mufti is approaching ‘Revenge Of The Fallen’ with New Wave , Indie and Electro Disco flavors, turning it into a club bomb. On the other hand , ALFOS co-founder (alongside the master Andrew Weatherall, R.I.P.) Sean Johnston aka Hardway Bros, are bringing us a powerful & Heavy Space Disco re-interpretation of ‘Game With Imagination’.

The ‘Saba Behoor’ saga continues: Remix package for Uper Acid Band title song taken from their latest EP ‘Saba Behoor’.

First up is the classically trained and scholared, longtime musician, producer, and DJ Omri Smadar, delivering a trippy, emotional, and powerful, middle eastern synth-driven remix to Uper Acid Band's ‘Saba Behoor’ feat. the exquisite vocals of Abo Sahar. Saba Behoor means Seven Seas, and Smadar's take is definitely sailing for a late-night hypnotic dance floor treat. The remix manifests that Omri is a storyteller in the deepest sense of the word!

In his own words: ‘When I started to work on the remix I decided I want to keep the dark and mysterious vibe of the vocals, but to compose it for a dance floor environment. I worked only the vocals and started to jam in the studio with my machines, and created the middle-eastern-percussive groove of the track.
 A few hours earlier, I went to the mail office to pick up my Micromoog Synth (a very funky phat mid-70’s analog synth) that just been shipped from the USA, so I rushed back to the studio and was all about jamming with it like a kid with his new toy. That’s where the gritty synth solo comes from. I felt like this is exactly the trippy Arabic-vibe I had in mind.’
So far, releases on labels such as Blue Shadow, AEON and Correspondant, we are thrilled to have his artistic output on the label.

Up next is Hard Fist co-founder and label head Cornelius Doctor. Known for his discoid and wavy sounds fusing the local and organic within the universal and futuristic, he builds the remix on a heavy, hypnotic, electro-tinged bass line heightened with Abo Sahar haunting vocals and repetitive oriental Oud giving it a trippy twist.

With release under his belt on Eskimo Records, Permanent Vacation, Correspondant, and Hard Fist, Cornelius Doctor shows his love for middle-eastern sounds and their transcendental powers - creating mystical landscapes of industrial beats and cosmic flare.

After Soulfooled (@soulfooled)kicked off the new year with an EP by the duo Aliot & Bunbeck, the second EP comes from Russian DJ & Producer „Mr Morek“ (@mrmorek). 

The EP is opened with a track called „Immunity“. A word that, these days finds a lot of attention in different political sections - so also the track breaks through any walls and barriers of genres and stereotypes.
On the second track „you can hear a lot of different fractions of electro house and melodic techno.“, claims Morek. „For me, this is something new and therefore I decided to call it „Ampere House“.

To finish off the EP, Mr Morek has chosen to write something more mysterious & magical. „Arcanum“ sticks to it, though not losing any from of energy, that has been built up through out the entire EP.

Exclusive Whitesquare 'Pressured Mind'

The fourth release on Whitesquare's own label, 'Pressured Mind', is ready to blow the same. The 'Algernon' follow-up musically take a different direction than it predecessor, mostly in it's choice of sounds, because Whitesquare unveils his preference for Acid-bleeps once again, as he introduced us to a rhythmic/ acid-esque hybrid on his previous EP for Dj Tennis' Life And Death label. 'Pressure Mind', which was also part of Whitesquare's art:cast for Torture the Artist in October, seems to be based upon the artist's inevitable groovy bass lines, always containing a resonating funkiness in the sub-frequencies. But 'Pressured Mind' has more to offer than the artist's trademark features as the listener is pulled deeply into the sound-action, namely Whitesquare slowly fades in the Acid-beeps that add the title track's suggested seriousness – or pressures one's mind – while before the aforementioned is basically is hinted at with vocoder-edited vocals. 

Whitsquare's single 'Pressured Mind' was released on his Whitesquare Series label on November 1st, 2019.
