It's been a busy month for all of us, but 003 is finally here!

For the third Rotcast we have been blessed with an hour long, head nodding, sound system thumping mix from Madcake.  One of the back bone members of the legendary Tunnel Crew Soundsystem, Madcake has been DJ'ing in the rave scene since the wonder years and certainly knows how to get the place rocking!  It has to be said, without Tunnel Crew, Rotten Noise would not be what we are today.

ROTCAST 003 - MADCAKE [GUEST MIX]

It's been a hectic month for us at HQ, actually a hectic summer! But with a new month upon us, we bring to you another Rotcast. 

This month we have turntable badman and self confessed vinyl junkie TRON, laying down half an hour of power of murky DNB all on wax.  As a staple part of local crew Drum Unit, TRON has been smashing sound systems, pairs of Technics and eardrums up and down the country for many many years. From forests to clubs, with the occasional teknival thrown in the mix, this man really knows how to tear it up..

ROTCAST 004 - TRON [GUEST MIX]

As the summer seasons reach an end and the winter closes in on us, we can only look back over fond memories of how we've spent our summer months. We'd just like to take the time to thank everyone who has spent the night and morning with us in rural locations watching the sun rise to some big beats!

For 005 we bring to you half an hour of some truly bouncing beats from Bristol badman, Premium Wubs! We met this guy at our Summer Solstice party with Phase Sounds, in the depths of a valley in Hampshire, and watched him destroy the dance on a wobbly bassline flex late on a sunny morning. This guy sure knows how to get ya feet moving!

We return for 2020s first instalment of the Rotcasts.. it's been a while!

As always we bring to you half an hour of power from friends we've made along the way, this time from Tribal.  Residing in Bristol and known for techy Drum & Bass, we first met at our Summer Solstice party last summer with Phase.  

With forthcoming releases on Planet Misteron and tracks being rinsed by the likes of Indika, Tribal is making waves in the underground scene, and delivers a combination of smoother tracks alongside some strong rollers that would push many sound systems to their limits.

The Socially Distant LP will be raising funds for homeless charities in Brighton and Bristol, two havens which have been important to us as we’ve grown both putting on events and as a label.
The current pandemic has been tough on those without homes to say the least and homeless charities are in need now more than ever. 
One of our chosen charities is the ClockTower Sanctuary based in Brighton. Those who have been with us from the start of SoundCrumpet will know our first ever events were fundraisers for this charity. They are a drop-in day centre for people ages 16-25 who are struggling and on the streets. They have helped and accommodated close friends of ours in the past and they know no young person chooses to be homeless.

We hope that with the money we can all raise together make's some sort of positive impact, however small, to those that are struggling through this difficult time we find ourselves in.
