With Halloween upon us “Shot Himself Down” paints a scary landscape. It's an original down tempo song including strong and straight forward drops. With darkness and cracking mental health everywhere, I wanted to recognize the fallen ones. Similar to a blues player from times gone by, whispering songs like prayers to get through the night, I'm singing about something that's almost too difficult to talk about (but shouldn't be, because irl listening and sharing can save lives). The lyrics are simple and direct tho I would find it very hard to speak them without this song.
