GAULCAST XXIII // Agressør

Resident of the wild Berlin parties Stimulation, the Human Experiments project was born from the will to share a radical vision of techno and the meeting of two inspirations, industrial cinematic and hypnotic groove. He creates a dark, violent yet catchy universe in which dissonant sounds meet pounding rhythms. His music is both danceable and deeply gloomy, blurring the boundaries between genres. By building an atmosphere in which rhythmic hammering and hypnotic envelopes form one, he strives to generate a strange synergy that is uniquely his.

Currently based in Berlin, he tends to refine his style by taking inspiration from the more minimalist aspects of techno. It is under his other alias 'Arc:type' that he intends to fully express this other musical vision, even if the borders between the two projects are thin.

As a DJ, Djamzer is known for his ability to move between dirty + fast rhythmics and powerful tracks, which quickly allowed him to play in some of the best clubs across the country.

Hailing from the underground scene of Stuttgart, re:akt's love for techno bloomed at a young age, inspiring him to start spinning tracks and crafting his own tunes. With a slew of releases on esteemed labels like OBSCUUR, Nulleins Records and Gomboc imprint nachtsieger, he has solidified his presence in the national techno scene. Eventually, he sought out to fully immerse himself in Berlin's pulsating techno culture, where he slowly gains traction with heavy releases waiting in the wings and packed with fiery selections for sweaty club nights. Summer Trance (DJ Set)

Agressør is a hard techno DJ from Berlin. He was once advised to avoid posting anything political if he wanted to succeed as a DJ. 
However, he was unhappy with this suggestion and chose to do the opposite. He tries to inject meaning into his sets every time he plays. This can range from Kurdish songs about the revolution to German rap music, like the opener of this set. 
His collective, Tumult, was also founded sharing anti-fascist and inclusionary politics ideologies shared by all members. He also found common ground with Obxene, because they did not play the game of booking ever more expensive lineups, only composed of superstars. Instead, they oriented themselves in a direction of uplifting the local scene, making techno into what it was meant to be: a rebellious and underground movement, focused on parties instead of profit!

AGRESSØR -  OBXENE PODCAST 018

Fractions is a collaborative project from Russian producers Nikki Korobeynik and Artem Frolov. Together they deliver hi-energy, genre-bending productions with elements of 90s rave, acid and as they say ‘unapologetic rawness’. A sound which no doubt is a derivative from their childhood surroundings in the sparse and remote regions of the Soviet Union.

They took it upon themselves to learn music production and were soon picked up by Fleisch Records from Berlin in 2018. The outcome of this collaboration was their ‘Control’ and ‘Scars Of Love’ EP’s. Touring started to pick up, but it was when they were asked to debut for Klubnacht at Berghain in 2019, which was only their 3rdgig of their career, things naturally took off for them. This was a show curated by The Vatican, playing alongside Phase, Fatale, Silent Servant and Barker.

2019 brought a new electro and breakbeat inspired release ‘Constellations’ on Rotterdam Electronix, and then an appearance with the opening track ‘Zero Ground’ on Dax J’s Monnom Black VA, sitting alongside some heavyweights including VTSS, Hadone and UVB.
