Soul Clap - When Deep House Was Deep

	BedStuy, Brooklyn born Ace Da God, is one of many upcoming hip-hop artist in the heart of New York city. Despite being one amongst many, for artist such as, Ace Da God there is very little competition. When taking in account his style, Ace is more than a mere artist with a single focus. With the ability to vividly paint portraits with words when in the booth, Ace Da God is also multi-talented sculptor; a cultivator if you may. Ace paves his own lane introducing a different, more refreshing brand of Hip-hop. For Ace his brand is not about cursing but instead lyrical skill. It's not about Jordan’s and true religion, but rather about having clothes, keeping fresh and clean cut much like the music  he creates. Notoriously known for his ability to improv freestyle on the spot about anything, even the one gray strain in your grandmother’s hair. Ace is also considered by many an exceptional writer. Previous to his hip-hop artistry, Ace was a singer in several church choirs, and noticed his rhyming talents when he'd often write rap verses for himself and friends to woo girls with. 
	Merging all his talents, along with his captivating social presence, and his spirit for work, Ace has become a commanding presence. Since entering the game in 2009, Ace has caught the eyes of hip-hop artist such as Elzhi, Ice-T, LL Cool J, slick rick, and many more. Ace has also been reached out to by big names like Dj Clue who hosted the intro to Ace Da God's 2011 released album, entitled Hold Your Applause, available on itunes. In recognition of his talents, Ace has been featured on BET 106 & PARK, GlobalGrind.com, Billboard.com, and Myspace’s "This is Myspace," Promotion Campaign. Ace's most recent track debuted on his social accounts. In the track he details his experience growing up, family situations, and his endeavor into the hip-hop game, stating "It started in the basement, reminiscent of the days he would work hours on end with his exclusive producer, queens native; J.monopoly. With such talent, positivity, and long due exposure Ace Da God is sure about one thing, He's ready for the world.

An exponent of quality real house and techno music. My ethos is to let the music do the work and to present the artists work straight up.  Being a selector I try and move an audience from A to B taking them on a journey by always playing across sub-genres never ending in the same place.  I use 2010 Mk2 decks with Urei Soundcraft Mixer no samplers / cds etc.  During early 1990s was a Reggae and Dance music buyer for Tower Records in London.  Dj'd on a number of underground soundsystems in South London including Vox Populi and Channel One.  Ran a successful house music night called Shiver. Dj'd at Club UK, Surgeries of Sound, & local resident at Red Planet alongside Detroit djs such as Blake Baxter and Suburban Knight Pennington.  As of 2017 I am back out playing again with LOVEBEAT with gigs coming up at Cafe Cairo, and Rye Wax LONDON. 

Presently enjoying 3rd / 4th Wave Detroit House and Nu-Disco Cut Ups as well as Deeper House and Techno from what now is a collection of collectibles.   Interested in opportunties - phildemont@gmail.com
