Destino is a new experimental side-project by Yuksek, who debuts it on La Belle Records with two innovative tracks and a remix by Alek Lee.
Over a career that spans more than 12 years, Yuksek has released three albums and many EPs next to making movie soundtracks. He is someone who lives in the studio and this new project finds him in there making beats for hours, all on the fly. “It’s just about looking for textures and not worrying about genres, tempo or length of the track,” says the artist.
Opening track ‘Louis’ is a perfectly intoxicating summer cut with cosmic pads drifting about above a slow motion groove. It’s languid and horizontal and designed to bliss you out with the sparse percussion and pitch shifted vocals adding to the effect.
The masterfully hypnotic ‘Isla Grande’ is another super laid back effort with slow claps, pixelated synths and psyched-out guitar riffs that carry you off into the cosmos. Starry eyed and golden in colour, it’s a late night track of the highest order.
Remixer Alek Lee is a much-respected producer who has released EPs on the acclaimed Antinote Records. His take on ‘Louis’ is tender but more driven, jumbled, organic drums bring the groove while warped and saturated chords add heat. It’s spooky and subversive and rounds out what is a genuinely inventive and original package.

Bep Kororoti & Akin debut on Modern Obscure Music with four Afro influenced tracks. Bep Kororoti released a self-titled mini album on Hivern Discs’ more experimental HVNX sub-label in 2016, but he is better known for making music as Kresy. Here, Kororoti is joined by Akin, who provides vocals and saxophone on this EP. Epomuyeñ is dancefloor cut with striking percussion and strong vocals, whilst Eruobodo is a sax dominated track. Ijotiya channels the spirit of Fela and Afrobeat over a spinning bassline, whilst Love is the only way has a deep spiritual vibe and a powerful vocal.

On February 6th, the compilation album called "Dance for Belarus" released - the first release for the Belarusian label Estetika.
One of the main ideas of the label is the promotion of talented and promising Belarusian artists on the European stage. We want to give our artists the opportunity to reach a European audience, as well as to acquaint this audience with interesting artists from outside their usual sphere of influence” says the creator of the project, Alexei Aslamin.
The album will feature tracks from representatives from across the Belarusain electronic scene: Fitzzgerald, Schmoltz, Leap and Aslamin. The idea was also supported by European artists: Johannes Albert (DE), Donald Dust (UK), Daniel Monaco & Futuristant (NL) and Rambal Cochet (RU).
The release will be in aid of raising funds for Belarusians who were subjected to political repression after the August 9th rigged elections in Belarus.

Commencement of public performances at late 90s early 00 in my native town Mariupol,Ukraine as dj Fat Strike. Collaborating with dj&mc 13 ICE under Sound S.W.A.T. project. Later music tastes were under strong influence of radio programs ''Prostranstvo Ponedel'niki'' (1997-2003, hosted by Igor Panasenko. As well as ''Atom'' hosted by other legend Erik Tchaikovskiy.
Later became part of Prostranstvo Sound System.

Since 2005 moved on to Odessa.

Started to collect vinyl records and build up a collection on one hand and audiophile analog sound system based on tube amplification and vintage speakers from other side.
In this relation raised necessity to unite vinyl collectors and bring vinyl collecting further from home shelfs.
