The EP’s opener, ‘Exotics’, takes us back to the future with a deep and timeless house track, as funky, rolling bass stabs bounce beneath hypnotic vocal cuts and a trumpet-y synth. Second up, ‘Light’ is a clear indication of the group’s listening-roots in Deep House before the genre’s destined popularity and increase in educated listeners. They left us with a track that wastes no time getting deep and spacey - lead by a growling bassline progression that finds itself submerged in full use of frequency, texture and tone, ‘You Know’ is a treat to the sonic senses.
