Welcome to the first episode of ROVECAST — our monthly DJ podcast series bringing you the hardest and wildest sounds in Berlin!  

We are very excited to kick off this new adventure with no other than The BlackMailer!  

Berlin-based queer artist The BlackMailer is a DJ and producer known for their high-energy sound and rave-driven intensity. Their music transports dancers straight to the sweat-drenched, strobe-lit dance floors of underground clubs, blending hard techno with ecstatic, unrelenting energy. With roots in Paris’ underground scene, they organized the legendary Currywürst parties before moving to London for sound engineering studies. However, it was Berlin that truly shaped their artistic identity, refining their signature sound — a fierce fusion of pounding kicks, hypnotic atmospheres, and uncompromising rave power.  

With releases on EXHALE, Carbone Records, and Märked, The BlackMailer’s productions have gained massive support from heavyweights like Amelie Lens, Kobosil, SNTS, Parfait, and Airod. Behind the decks, they are versatile and commanding, weaving together Detroit influences, industrial grit, and relentless hard techno. Whether through their productions or DJ sets, The BlackMailer is here to break barriers and electrify the dance floor. Brace yourselves!

Welcome back with the second episode of ROVECAST — our monthly DJ podcast series bringing you the hardest and wildest sounds in Berlin!

We have been blown away by the incredible feedback after our kick-off, and we’re beyond grateful to keep this journey rolling with you. Now get ready to turn it up because we are bringing you one of Berlin’s Techno heavyweights: Andrew Moore.

Originally from Scotland, Andrew’s journey into the world of electronic music began behind the camera, filming and interviewing legendary DJs for Glasgow’s eqtv.dj. But it wasn’t long before he found himself on the other side of the booth. After moving to London, he threw himself into the city’s scene, launching his own parties and becoming a driving force behind it.

Now based in Berlin, Andrew has built a fierce reputation for high-impact sets that mix rave nostalgia with raw industrial tension — performing at venues like Kantine am Berghain, Griessmuehle, RSO, OHM, and Æden, to name a few. His productions, released on labels like BPitch and SCALE TRAX, are weapons of catharsis and power.

Mira Sonnenberg is a true Rhinelander who was born in Cologne and grew up between the two metropolises of Cologne and Düsseldorf, where she began DJing in 2019. Today, she lives in the capital, Berlin, where she lives out her passion for electronic dance music.

She loves the variety of electronic dance music, but her heart beats for fast and hard techno. She feels most comfortable at 150–165 BPM and likes to play hard trance, neo rave, hardstyle, and hard techno.

Her sound is fast, hard, and fun — these are the three words that best describe the sound of Mira Sonnenberg.

She enjoys what she does, and you can feel it. She loves to play a hard sound, but the fast, banging beats and vocals spread pure joy and just make you want to dance. Mira doesn’t just make people dance; she also makes them smile.

This month, we got something very special and personal. Taking over the decks for episode 004 is the one usually behind the scenes: Sakser. The founder of Rove Division (FKA Running Order Berlin), TechnoGym fanatic, Bedroom Super DJ, and full-time dancefloor devotee.

Sakser is a Tunis-born DJ who moved to Berlin in 2016, drawn by the city’s raw energy and legendary club culture. Long before stepping behind the decks, he spent years deep in the crowd — especially at the dearest Griessmuehle — absorbing the music and shaping his own idea of what makes a set truly unforgettable.

His style is rooted in instinct and emotions. Guided by the simple question, “What would I want to hear if I was in the crowd right now?”, his sets blend raw techno, dark industrial textures, uplifting trance moments, and a touch of hip-hop’s rebellious spirit. It’s fast, bouncy, and built to surprise. No gimmicks. No safe zones. Just a one-way ticket into the hardest sounds of Techno.

Alright fam, we are back! This is ROVECAST, our monthly DJ podcast series bringing you that Hard Raw Unchained Techno straight from the depths of Berlin!

For episode 008, we are stepping into deeper history. This time our guest doesn't even need an introduction: Alien Rain — the Acid alter ego of Milton Bradley. A pioneer, a reference point, and one of the artists who shaped the sound many of us rave to today. I am so proud to host him on our podcast!

Some call him a legend, I personally do, without hesitation! He is the artist who brought Acid back to life and inspired many others with his famous Alien Rain alias that channels his love for the sound of the Roland TR-303 and has found a home on his own Alien Rain imprint as well as on Oscar Mulero's Pole Group Recordings, Deep Sound Channel, Regal's Involve Records, Ellen Allien's Ufo Inc. and many more labels.

His first release was put out on his own label Do Not Resist The Beat!, which he set up in order to have full creative and logistical control over his music. That first release, which dropped in 2008, was a success and spurred him on to continue making more music. Since then he’s maintained a constant flow of music through his own outlet and earned himself a sterling reputation for high quality club music that always sounds fresh.

Versatility and a desire to explore the infinite possibilities of electronic music lie at the core of Milton Bradley’s ethos. An artist driven by his innate creative energy and deep passion for rave culture, Milton’s prolific, diverse approach to production fuels his unwavering commitment to making, and playing, music. Focused on the here and now, Milton embodies the playful curiosity that was present at the inception of house and techno. He embraces the growth of electronic music while making his own impassioned contribution to its continued evolution. Becoming a DJ was perhaps inevitable and he forged his own path in the early years of club culture’s development.

Get ready for a journey soaked in TR-303 pressure, dark atmospheres, and that unmistakable Alien Rain signature! 👽

We can't express how grateful we are for this incredible journey! So welcome back, you're still listening to ROVECAST - our monthly DJ podcast series bringing you that Rogue Rave sound straight from planet Berlin.

For the final mix of the year, we hand it over to Lady Maru, delivering a brutal journey through Hard Techno, Acid pressure, Noise, and Hardcore energy.

Lady Maru is a Rome-born, Berlin-based electronic producer and post-punk musician. Before stepping behind the decks, she was active as a noise guitarist in post-punk and no-wave bands, shaping a raw and confrontational relationship with sound. That background still defines her approach today, where art punk collides with Techno.

Her sound lives at 160–170 BPM, driven by Industrial weight, Acid lines, Tribal tension, and Hardcore influences. In 2026, she is expanding further with two new aliases: Hardkore Vestal for Hardcore and Uptempo sounds, and Minimal Ghost for raw, classic Techno.

Her music has landed on labels such as Gegen Records, Physical Techno Records, Carbone Records, BPitch Control, Scuderia, Arkham Audio, and DSR Digital.

This mix is dark, heavy, and relentless — a proper final statement for the year.
