From Drift To Drip

This is my second track for FAWM 2024 (recorded the day before, whatever, sue me). This song is a love song I wrote to myself, in a way. I first wrote the lyrics, based on a FAWM challenge that just gives you the names of colors of nail polish. I saw "Steady as she Rose" and I knew I immediately what I wanted to say. 15 minutes later I had the lyrics and guitar written. I love when a song just comes together. But this song is also a love song about my horse, and horses in general, for giving me a reason to get up in the morning, and giving me the practice of getting back up when I'm knocked down. Anyway, this is my favorite song I've written recently, and I hope you like it too.

Had a lot of fun recording this with Rowan, unfortunately failed to save our first version of her vocals and our shared screams at the end but I think the end result is still pretty great. Look out for the Beach Narc!!
