Finlandssvenska kompositören och pianisten Iiris Viljanen har genom sitt ärliga och säregna uttryck nått framgångar med allt från sitt Grammisvinnande album "Den lilla havsfrun" till en roll i teateruppsättningen "Det vilda" på Orionteatern. Nyligen gjorde hon succé på hyllningskonserten till Peter LeMarc i Tele2 Arena inför 16 000 hänförda åskådare. Senare i vår ger hon sig ut på föreställningsturné tillsammans med med Stina Ekblad. En föreställning som är baserat på hennes nya album ”Själsligt uppvaknande vid Slussen”. Ett album som förtrollar med ärliga, drömska men konkreta låtar som framförs av lyhört band. Ett album där mörkret sällskapas av hoppfullhet i stilla sväng. Riktigt såhär har hon inte låtit tidigare, inte så direkt, levande och omfamnande.

Wavy, electronic slow jam ‘How Do You Feel?’ is the first official single crafted between childhood friends Frankie Knight and Robert Swaine AKA Submyth. ‘How Do You Feel?’ combines Submyth’s playful basslines and ambient jungle pads with Frankie Knight’s softkeys and lush vocals; reminiscent of Jesse Lanza, FKA Twigs, Ross from Friends andIAMDDB.

The track aims to keep alive conversations on how we can progress society to create a more compassionate and peaceful world. Knight says of the lyrics,“I was trying to address an inner conflict I have between hopelessness and optimism for the current state of the world. Asking the question, do we need to start again or can love save the day?”

It is accompanied by a music video, conceptualized by Frankie Knight and produced in Brighton.
