This is a direct from desk to DAT (Sony TCD-D3) recording where Dave Woolgar (front of house sound) also bled in Audience and ambience.
You are hearing very much what we heard that night.
Pete Bardens is exceptional on Piano here and the interplay with him and Andy Ward on drums as well as Jimmy Hastings on Saxes is wonderful.

Timepiece Live The Grand 1993 Mirage (Pete Bardens Solo)

This is a raw dump from my multi-track, its not mixed or finished by any means. However, it gives you an idea of this great band and the lineup of Roye Albrighton, Ron Howden, Randy Dembo and the amazing Mr Thomas Hughes on Hammond.
We turned up no rehearsals, and they played an amazing 3-hour set.
An amazing glimpse at these musical talents.

When you listen to this you have to beg the question, on what planet is Andy Ward not capable of playing drums with Camel?
He did fine here with no issues, as he was carefully cared for with Love. In fact Andy was a great source of encouragement and strength to us all.
 The recording suffered from Terrible Microphone bleed.
 This was due to Chris Thorpe miking everything instead of
 using DI Boxes. Plus there were only 16 tracks available
 i.e. 2 x 8 track Alesis ADATS.
