Roy Hage is an award-winning Lebanese-American operatic Tenor who attended Curtis Institute of Music and created the role of Reid (Georgia Boy) in Jennifer Higdon's, Cold Mountain, and appears in its two-GRAMMY© nominated world premier recording. Roy has performed with ensembles including the Cleveland Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and Columbus Symphony Orchestra and has worked with conductors including Yannick Nezet-Seguin, Sir Richard Bonynge, Corrado Rovaris, Vladimir Ashkenazy, and David Robertson. In the United States, he has appeared in noted operatic productions with Opera Philadelphia, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Santa Fe Opera, and Maryland Lyric Opera, among others, and festivals including the Aspen Music Festival, Miami Music Festival, and Chautauqua Music Festival. In 2013, Hage premiered the chamber version of "The Stars and the Roses" by Pulitzer Prize winning composer, Steven Stucky.
