𝓜𝓪𝔁𝔂 𝓙𝓪𝔃𝔃 died exactly two months ago, on the night of 23rd of December 2022, at the age of 65. He was the lead vocalist of a British electronic band 𝓕𝓪𝓲𝓽𝓱𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼. When I have heard the news about his death, my first impulse was to listen to all the Fathless records that I own. I have then discovered that I have two copies of “We Come 1”.

We Come 1 is 𝔸 𝕗𝕖𝕣𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕘 from their third studio album, Outrospective, and it was issued as the album's lead single on 4 June 2001.

The lyrics of "We Come 1" possess a theme of unity. The narrator sings to someone from whome he is dependent, but this dependency is not based on external factors. Instead, this person provides internal inspiration, including his purpose in life. Whenever the two individuals are together, they are one complete entity.
Primarily, "We Come 1" advocates all people to consolidate each other. During live performances of this song, Maxi Jazz urges often the audience to take care of one another, stating “We're all we got." Sister Bliss said in an interview that is a track about humanity that illustrates the relationships between everything on the planet. As a result, Sister Bliss stated that protecting those relationships is what keeps concepts such as nature and the environment viable, saying "We must come one otherwise our future is in peril."

They have been always one solid staple for my inspiration, that’s why I decided to do a special edit to pay tribute to him and to one of my favorite electronic band ever.
