This track is one take, no edits because I cried through the entire thing, and we knew that I would never get that kind of emotion again. I felt so raw, and vulnerable. I was broken and ashamed of the pieces, but this is my story to tell, so no matter what, I had to be honest and open. Love should uplift you, not tear you down, so it wasn't really love, I guess.

In the end, it never was, I never was.

Original Version of Heroine, the remix is my favorite, but this one is beautiful. I loved him, I couldn't leave him, I didn't realize I was addicted until I was already a feign and getting him out of my system was the most physically painful thing I had lived through at the time. Shaking, sweating, throwing up, crying, begging God.  It felt like what I imagine real drug withdrawals must feel like, I thought I was going to die. But here I am, sober and unphased. I don't even remember what the high felt like anymore, nor do I care.
