have you ever went to a random bar in korea and ordered the most intriguing sounding drink, which later led to a series of unfortunate yet cathartic events of which you have no memory of? yeah me too haha dw it happens to the best of us 

so, i dedicate my first mix to remembering such cathartic experiences through these songs consisting some of my fav genres, including (mostly) trap and a little bit of dubstep and future bass here and there. hope you enjoy! :)

K/NIGHT RIDER (trap & wave mix)

While the Bay Area continues to be a home base for many talented artists, Xerxes is one name that stands out against the grain. Being musically inclined from a young age, he has had a lifelong relationship with music that has only evolved over time. From being classically trained to playing in high school marching band, the young DJ and producer has had plenty of time to hone in on his craft and create a sound that is uniquely his own.

The years of practice become evident as Xerxes captures listeners with his discography, which includes high-energy tracks like "Sideswipe" with 2Spade, and "Apollo" with fellow Bay Area producer, Glasspvck. The Bay Area has seen him grace the stage with beloved local event company Pastel, including his first-ever headlining set at San Francisco's YOLO nightclub.

This year, Xerxes is gearing up for even bigger things, including festival sets and major label releases starting later this year. Coming up soon, listeners will be able to catch his tracks played locally, as he is set to take the stage at Toxic Summer as part of the Olympus stage takeover. What’s your GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT in 2024 so far?

RE!GN turns 5 this Spooky Szn and I’m still in disbelief because time flies so quickly😝😭 5 years ago in October 2019, I started out this adventure as RE!GN so lol, happy birthday to me. From creating the brand new social media accounts and booking 2 shows within that first month.. all I can say is WOW what a ride it’s been since then. I wanted to celebrate myself today for growing up and never giving up. What better way to celebrate my journey than to share another mix with all of you‼️ 

I was given the honor of Headlining Trap Frequency with New Wave Events back in August 10th, and today is FINALLY the day you’ll finally hear the mix! It took me a while to refine my style and “formula” so I’m really proud of this one. I be gatekeeping bangers sometimes LOL so thank you for waiting for me to upload(; 

As I reflect back on 2024 so far, “Trap Frequency” will forever be a favorite memory. OFC there were so many other pivotal career wins to be thankful for this year and my gratitude runs deep for all of you who are still here with me. I never would have imagined that this Ewa Beach kid with a wishlist was able to cross off “DEBUT HEADLINE” on the agenda!!
