This is a little compilation of some of my personal favorite "quiet"  tracks of the music I have composed and posted to this Soundcloud. This is one of 3 distinct soundcloud accounts I have. Each is very different. This one covers improvised piano, some of my more ambient works, and a few mellow electronic pieces.

All of the music in this collection is written and performed by me. It is either purely electronic, or electronic / acoustic, usually with acoustic piano. All of these tracks are instrumental.

Trying To Be Normal

This is strictly the audio track of a short film I composed the music for in the month of February. Without the video it may lose it's context, but the entire dialog from the short is included, which really only amounts to 6 lines. The music was primarily written for a dance sequence inside a dream in the film. I leave it up to listeners to see what they see. the film will be out later after the next festival season.

What if there were a pipe organ on Jupiter... the size of Jupiter? How loud would that be? How would you play it, with really big hands? 

I always wanted to dabble with some Baroque-like ideas (I don't pretend to remember all the rules for composing multi-part harmonies in that era), and I like the sound of pipe organs... so, there ya go!


Cathedrals Of Jupiter

A Mixed-media piece (Acoustic piano, synthesizer). The piano was improvised, then I added additional synthetic sounds and textures in a couple of over-dubs. 

The Awakening

A small offering for our very large and beautiful friends. May they always be well cared for and their habitat preserved for future generations. Created with improvised acoustic piano and electronic music synthesizers.

Another ambient piano / electronics piece; slow tempo, suitable for massage, yoga, etc. Plus, I like angels.

A purely experimental track. I was working on some Moog Voyager patches that gave me great flexibility while playing them live. Mission sort of accomplished...
