Sei A back on his mother label for an outstanding contribution to Turbo Warehouse Series after strong releases on Kompakt, Simple, Hemlock and his own Seinan label.

The prodigal son returns with this 3 track ep of innovative club music. The palette will be familiar to the Scottish producer's growing fanbase, but things have clearly evolved on every level: finely crystallized percussion is the star of the show here, layered expertly into swinging grooves, accented by subtle melodies and hammered home by deep warehouse-grade bass.

A-side Blades of Brasil is a top class stealth bomber of a track- the tempo hangs down at 115 and the beats are low-slung, but the chug is fierce, the percussion sounds absolutely mesmerizing, and the build-up moves forward with an unwavering force of inevitability… a massive groundswell of bass emerges from the slow rolling magma core, highlighted by futuristic sirens, slick rides and laser-glazed zaps. Subtle all around, but truly masterful. 

Swoon picks up the tempo and adds a hooky vocal, carried forward by tense stabs and syncopated claps. A track that single-handedly gives the mostly irrelevant 'tech-house' genre a reason to exist. Amen.

Finally, Made of Something is playful by comparison to the other tracks, hitting at pop talent with the dubbed vocal and melodic build of the pads before dropping back in to a killer funk pattern of sick hi-tech drums and resonant hits popping off with brilliantly timed delays. 

The arrangement stays interesting the whole way through the EP. There's nothing obvious here, just raw talent compressed into clanging Scottish warehouse funk.

Booka Shade are Berlin-based duo Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, and have emerged as one of the most pioneering electronic music acts of the past two decades. Booka Shade return with their new album ‘Eve’ released through Armada Music December 13th, preceded by first single ‘Love Inc’, released on December 9th.

For their fifth studio album Booka Shade wanted to tell a new story, a story which represented a new beginning for them after they had almost split up during the first half of the production. In order to create something exciting they needed to be somewhere exciting and in search of inspiration headed to the UK home of electronic music, Manchester, to record at the acclaimed Eve studios, a residential vintage recording studio. This is where they found themselves together again, where the music came to life and why the album is named after the studio.

The 12 track album includes special guests Fritz Helder (Azari & III), Fritz Kalkbrenner, and Groove Armada’s Andy Cato on trombone. Artwork was conceived and designed by La Boca to provide a rich and vivid visual accompaniment to ‘Eve’.

Booka Shade singles have historically been both underground sensations and club hits (such as ‘Mandarine Girl’ and ‘Body Language’) and new single ‘Love Inc’ looks set to follow in those footsteps. ‘Love Inc’ is infused with pure club sound, paying a contemporary homage to Chicago’s former king of house, Lil Louis, whose 1992 hit ‘Club Lonely’ serves as the track’s sample. Friend and art director Thomas Hayo was brought on board to direct the song’s music video in the vein of their last collaboration on “Sweet Lies”. Details to be announced.

Since 2009, Roy Rosenfeld has been sharpening his artistic skills in electronic music, effortlessly blending diverse styles and genres of House music. Each of his creations showcases the consistently unique and recognizable sound that defines Roy Rosenfeld.

Starting out as a beginner DJ, he began his career as a resident DJ in a dance bar. He later expanded his reach, performing at larger venues like festivals and underground clubs in major cities. His passion for music and musical abilities quickly earned him recognition and a dedicated global following.

Roy Rosenfeld has established a successful music career by collaborating with several leading record labels in the House music industry. He has released tracks on "All Day I Dream" by Lee Burridge, including "Lift of Love”, "Honey”, "Rumbala”, and "Simi”, to name a few. He has also published his music on Guy J’s "Lost & Found" Records, where one can find "Phase" and "Force Major" EPs, among others. In addition, Roy has released well-known musical works under Guy Gerber's imprint "Rumors," including the track "No Drama" and a remix to “Rainchecks In Montreal” by the label boss. His back catalog includes music on Sebastien Leger's label "Lost Miracle," such as “Toco/Sanga Dance”, “Milongi”, "Hypnosa De La Rosa" and "Tuti" EPs, which feature collaborations with Sebastien himself, including the tracks "Creme" and "Cherry On Top," both have become instant classics.

Throughout his career, Roy has created several iconic works, including “Epika”, a collaboration with Guy Mantzur, released on the legendary “Kompakt” Records and regarded as one of the greatest anthems of 2015. "The Biggest Heart," released on Lee Burridge's label "TRYBESof" in 2019, took some dance floors by storm, capturing hearts globally, and became a standout anthem of that year's “Burning Man”. To kick off 2023 with a bang, Roy released "Kala" on the highly regarded label "VOD." The track received immediate support from major industry figures like Solomun, Keinemusik, and Adriatique and quickly climbed to the top of Beatport's charts, receiving worldwide recognition and airplay.

Having many top hits in the sales charts, winning contests and awards, and collaborating with some of the most respected artists, had all gained Roy massive recognition and support from major superstars, such as Solomun, Black Coffee, Dixon, Keinemusik, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Michael Mayer, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Luciano, Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn and many others. The list even goes on to Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Deadmau5, and Groove Armada.

In addition to his production accomplishments, Roy successfully balances a hectic DJ schedule. In 2018, there was a global increase in demand for his unique sound, resulting in multiple participations in several “All Day I Dream"
events in Ibiza, Mykonos, and Dubai. This was followed by a huge interest in the US. He then performed at different massive festivals including Tomorrowland in Belgium, Zamna in Tulum, We Are Lost in Buenos Aires and Amsterdam, All Day I Dream in the US, Warm Up in London, Return to Rio in Sydney, Warung in Brazil, Marvellous Island in Paris, and more.

In early 2020 Roy started his new events production called “No Drama”, a small but highly successful dance-music event launched in Tel Aviv. Despite its modest size, the event attracts a dedicated crowd of music lovers and dance enthusiasts, who come together to enjoy a day & night of a musical journey. With a lineup of top local and international DJs, “No Drama” has quickly established itself as one of the hottest dance-music events in the city, known for its relaxed and fun atmosphere, great music, eye-catching decorations, and fantastic crowd.

Roy's fervor for music and unwavering ambition have established him as a distinguished figure in the music industry. He is constantly pushing the boundaries of house music and stirring the hearts of others with his unique sound.
