Little Interview, as always :)

-> What is your favorite track of your new Rebellion EP and why?

I don’t really have a favorite one, just love the whole package ! But the remixes are amazing to me, I discovered Kon Faber lately and I directly felt in love with their grooves, really digging their work on their remix! On top of that, I’ve always been admirative of madmotormiquel work thru his label and productions. having him as a remixer is such an honnor, couldn’t be more happier! thanks gain to the RDT team for making this happen. 

-> what did you learn from the Corona time?

When it comes to music, it gave me a lot more time to produce of course. But Corona time was more an introspection moment to me, mostly to bring a new musical path in my projects.
I know that It was really hard for many producers out there, and it still is, but I really hope that all those crazy times will bring more caring and support between us.

-> what would you wish for the music scene in the future?

To be free again.

Our next down.cast was mixed by our dutch friend @rozeofc. In the last few months he has been releasing one banger after another and we are very happy that he is now part of the down. family.

His productions are characterized by pushing basslines, perfectly rounded off with unique synth elements that make every sound system glow.

If you listen carefully, you will already find the two original tracks in his set, which he will release on our label at the beginning of July. As always, we hope you enjoy listening.

It's about time again, our eighth compilation finally sees the light of day. It is peppered with wonderful pearls from the most diverse styles of the downtempo universe and, as always, is intended to reflect the diversity of our favorite genre.

Again, we tried to find the right mix between friends who have been with us for a long time and have been shaping the downtempo scene for years, paired with a large number of newcomers who convinced us with their sound quality and approach to production.

The compilation was mastered by our engineer of trust Haunted Water and the signature artwork was contributed as always by Kilian Van De Water. Enjoy listening.
