Live BLEND off "The After Party"- a mixtape I released in the Fall of 2001... This was before I started multi-tracking/"producing" my mixtapes.  Just two turntables, a mixer, and a bunch of records. One time one take!

This mixtape is a tribute to my favorite producer- Christopher Edward Martin, better known as DJ PREMIER. Rather than put together a basic compilation of Premier-produced tracks, I decided to focus solely on Preemo's beats/scratches!!  

Please note- I put this entire project together using computer software.  I purposefully decided NOT to use my turntables at all.  Every cut, scratch, transform, zugga-zugga, stab, rub, drag, and backspin you hear were done by DJ PREMEIR!

REGGAE VOL. 4- "The 90s Hip-Hop Edition"

I've been wanting to drop a mixtape like this for YEARS now... It's a compilation of 90s Reggae remixes done over Hip-Hop beats and was inspired by a DJ Fidel tape I had in high school. Most of the tracks I used were converted from vinyl to mp3 specifically for this project and are fairly difficult to find. I hope you enjoy. As always, your feedback is appreciated...
