Dollar Signs In Her Eyes

Hey all.  I composed this little guitar instrumental a few years back and just got around to actually recording it for possible use in a TV project.  For all of you guitar nerds, the title is sort of a reference to Led Zeppelin's "The Rain Song" (I wrote this while experimenting in the same tuning DGCGCD) and due the lullaby quality of it, sleeping sounded like a good thing .  Hope it doesn't put you to sleep or anything.  Enjoy- Rob.

Sleeping In The Rain

Thought I'd share another acoustic track, for fun.  Recorded this for consideration for the same TV project as Sleeping In The Rain was recorded for.  The song was actually written by my good friend Leslie Beavauis.  We had talked about doing some recording and I chose this song of hers to demo a more scaled down acoustic vibe to her material.  It was supposed to be a backing track but kind of wound up standing on it's own as a solo instrumental arrangement... oops.  Lucky for me, she tells me she likes what I did with it.

Armed only with a few guitars, a MacBook Pro with Pro Tools, Addictive Drums, some loops and a keyboard, I headed out west...

Message From The Country

I wrote this in response to the "Stay At Home" order protests and the first responders (particularly, the nurses) who stood their ground against the protesters (who accused them of being "fake" and "traitors").  True heroes and patriots don't need to parade around to remind people of who they are.  They just rise to the occasion when it's their time.  If you don't think it's possible that both people in the photo might be a hero or a patriot, then you're part of the problem.
