This parody, written 5 years ago, is a tribute to great earworms of the distant past. It describes the occasions when your meditation gets highjacked by '60's pop tunes. Apologies to Neil Sedaka, The Beatles, The Angels, The Trashmen, The Ronettes, et al.

In the mornin' light when I sit down to meditate
It starts so calmly, the air seems to pause and wait
My chakras open and my breath's movin’ soft and low
Just when I'm starting to flow

I return to breathing so softly and sure and slow.
I start to feel Good Vibrations are filling my mind.
Then a song creeps up from behind,
