"Velocity" is the first Stig solo release since 2013’s ambient work "Hydrocycle". A single album length composition in two parts, Velocity is not about speed, it is about movement and displacement.

The music moves through a number of styles and forms, blending classic game sounds with prog rock, fusion and electronic dance music, developing and evolving as it moves forward, only looking back to realize how far it has come.

It plays out as one big cinematic night time adventure in the city, with music that takes you through nightclubs, city streets,
motorways and busy plazas, where the city is defined and laid out before you but the journey is yours and yours alone as a listener.

This is music intended with the scope of a video game, a world for you to exist in and make your own, but set in the real world, an adventure for your ears within the great adventure that is your life.

A purely electronic work diligently programmed one note at a time, setting the classic chipsounds of the MOS Technology SID and YM2612 against the vintage electronic drums of the Roland TR-909 and a contemporary rock and dance sound, Velocity is not merely nostalgia, but music truly for 2015 and for everyone who has grown up in the classic era of gaming.

My track on Chipmusic Heroes' newest compilation album, Chipmusic Heroes V: Doomsday Device. 

Also my FIRST Soundcloud upload to feature my new Stereo NES, which consists of 2 NES machines firing into the left and right speakers simultaneously.  All panning effects are achieved by leveling the volumes differently on the 2 speakers with duplicated notes / channels.

Crypt of the NecroDancer: MEGAMIXED is a remix (or remash) album dedicated to the amazing producers of the Crypt of the NecroDancer Soundtrack! 

Each and every song of COTND (well, except for some bosses and Amplified) has been carefully remixed and remastered by 6 music artists or groups: A_Rival, FamilyJules7x, Virt, Chipzel, Girlfriend Records, and Overclocked Records: each with their own individual styles and genres. 

Crypt of the NecroDancer: MEGAMIXED combines all 7 soundtracks of the game into one seamless piece of music by playing each remix at specific times. For example, Virt and Chipzel both use a chiptune approach to the soundtrack, so they will appear together very often.

Dualtrax & BZL - Windhoek Nights (2006)

Few things get the blood flowing like a nerd music super group bringing together a bunch of skilled musicians to form an awesome total package. RPG-Unit is Starby, King Pheenix, StarF, Alpha Riff, and DJ RoboRob. Each masters of their own craft, they all bring something super special to the table. Starby’s sassyness, King Pheenix’s raw power, StarF’s witty lyricism, and Alpha Riffs punching lyrics smother over the powerful beats brought forth by the talented DJ RoboRob. Comparable examples of these things would be stuff like the Justice League, Voltron, and bacon on just about anything.
