Hailing from Helsinki in Finland we welcome the truly talented producer Adventure Tale to the PHW Elements division. It is a producer that we have been tracking for a while and we are delighted to see him team up with us of course. Included in this release are two different original productions with added on remixes as well from great people on the scene. 

First out is the wonderful “Abyss”, a melodic techno /progressive house fusion that surely is a way of showing off the really talented producer and what he is all about. It’s rich in energy and drive and equals with some fantastic melodic work as well. It’s dark, moody and a full power journey. On remix duty, Dubai based in fame rising producer Teklix makes his way back on the label. With his distinct style of driving melodic techno sounds he once more proves his skills and delivers something really energy filled and driving through his flourish style. We are truly happy to see Teklix back in the house.

The second original, named as “Aether'' we hear another showcase from this artist. It'a a bit more laid back in feel but still has all the right things to make it a progressive journey to not miss out on. It’s packed with rare grooves, great atmosphere and all these super cool melodic arrangements that just bring the icing on the cake. It's phenomenal and it is something that should be in everyone's DJ bag or collection. On remix duty, we see another debut as we finally got the chance to bring on a long time favorite producer to us running the label. Out of Melbourne, Australia we get the chance to bring on the full artillery and skills from Eric Lune, a producer that brought echoes around the globe through his music. With his incredible talent to create progressive music, delivering what it feels like, week in and week out through the scene, he now decided to team up with us through PHW Elements. By no means he will disappoint you as this is another heartwarming explosion of progressive sounds. It’s created as the wizard he is and we think this is a producer that will have an even stronger 2021. It’s brilliant!

Morttagua brings his first single of the year with the deep and mellow “Pallas”. 

Pallas is a track with long history on the making as Morttagua produced the first version of the track in early 2016.  Initially the track wasn’t planned to be released, but Morttagua showed it to the legendary Luciano, when both were sharing a studio session in Switzerland in 2018, and it immediately got an amazing response from him. When getting this important feedback from Luciano Morttagua finally decided to release the track and was just waiting for the right moment.  

Now with the Organic House genre making big waves on the scene,  Morttagua found it a perfect time to release the track. 

Pallas is a very melodic peace of art with harmonic pianos, strings and guitar melodies surrounding a soft ethereal vocal. On top of the very emotional feel of the track, Morttagua adds a very unique percussion work to make PALLAS literally go through our six senses.

On the Remix duties for PALLAS we bring legendary Nick Warren teaming up with Argentinian rising star Nicolas Rada. 

Nick and Rada change the original into a more hypnotic dance floor weapon, with that special “Soundgarden” trademark sound that is capturing the imagination of many fans around the world. 
With an astonishing drum work and mix design, this Remix takes us into an atmospheric journey through lush pads and introspective melodies, giving us the perfect combination of harmony and groove for our soul and body. Simply timeless!

Kicking off 2021 by continuing to support up and coming talents in the modern underground dance arena, Meanwhile begins the year with a twin-track offering from gifted Ukrainian artist, Nōpi, and his sublime “Spoon Light” EP.

One of the brightest stars in the underground house cosmos over the past eighteen months, Nōpi has continued to excel with a raft of original and remix material throughout 2020. An array of leading imprints has thus queued up to feature the Ukrainian’s work with Cid Inc.’s Replug, the ever-reliable, Anjunadeep and Jacob Henry’s Silk Music all releasing original music in the last months of the year; the latter with the mesmerising seven-track “Bila” EP that has seen Nōpi reach a fitting high point at year’s end.

Now debuting on Meanwhile, the title track is a scintillating tour de force that bristles with trademark emotion and glorious melodic brio. Driven purposefully forward with rich, sustained bassline and delicate percussive flair, shimmering pads and muted arpeggio pan the stereo spectrum with ease as ethereal vocal cuts whisper barely heard phrases, rich in reverb and delay. Building in intensity via a glorious breakdown, “Spoon Light” picks up the pace again in the third movement to create a rarely heard emotive intensity as dizzying gated synths add further aural colour.

Partner track, “Creative Sheet” continues the intelligent melodic narrative of its predecessor as an intricate percussive top-line and immaculately syncopated bass groove provide a wonderfully worked rhythmic framework. Evolving seamlessly into the second movement, an expertly woven sonic tapestry reveals itself via panned effects, pulsating white-noise washes and potent synth phrasing. The result is a magnificent illustration of Nōpi’s talent and ability to match groove and melody with poise and purpose.

Bending sonic reality with expert skill and craftsmanship, Nōpi’s “Spoon Light” is full of iridescent colour.
