Connor Graham has served us an up-tempo mix filled with a variety of punchy baselines for Backheel Sessions 006. 

Taking inspiration from the Berlin dance music scene, Connor has infused it with the Naarm underground sound to find his own blend of genres, covering acid tech, minimal, UKG, trance and many more.

He is part of the Naarm music and arts collective Follow Your Tempo, who are looking to run their first set of events in the coming weeks.

Air Jackson is a Dj & Producer hailing from Dublin, Ireland has submitted a stunning mix for this weeks Selecta Series.
After residing in Amsterdam is eclectic music taste can be seen through his mixes and how he can flawlessly transition from genre to genre.

Since his first release was featured on the legendary Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show as a an Essential Selection in 2019, the Dj/Producer has gone from strength to strength having played shows in clubs and at festivals in the UK, Ireland, Ibiza and the Netherlands, to name a few.

Along with a number of releases with support from some of the biggest names in the game such as Maceo Plex, Sasha, Luciano and Groove Armada. Air Jackson has solidified himself in the scene and is definitely one to keep an eye on for 2023.

Next up on the Mortimore roster is a newcomer by the name of XAVIER. Establishing himself in Naarm’s underground scene, XAVIER is eager to showcase his abilities as a solid selector in this mix he has delivered us.

Exploring the darker edge of hardgroove in this mix, artists such as Daria Kolosova and KI/KI inspire the aesthetic and energy of XAVIER’s sets. Having grown up with The Prodigy and citing X Club as one of his biggest production inspirations, XAVIER weaves the sounds of his favourite artists to create his own vision in both mixing and producing.

Be sure to check out his recent debut self-release on Soundcloud, titled “Scroll Behaviour”, merging textures of ambient music with dark grooves of techno, this track shows great promise for what is to come from XAVIER.
